Join St. Marys Riverkeeper and guest expert Dr. Adam Fox from the University of Georgia Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources for a VIRTUAL Lunch and Learn!
Dr. Fox will discuss sturgeon in the St. Marys River and sampling efforts to better understand the population of this endangered species. The St. Marys River is critical habitat for both Atlantic and Shortnose Sturgeon and it is estimated that there are only 14 genetically distinct St. Marys River Atlantic Sturgeon left that are reproducing in the river.
