Nassau County, FL, 6/16/23 – The Nassau County Supervisor of Elections office received an honorable mention in the Outstanding Innovations in Elections category of the United States Election Assistance Commission (U.S. EAC) Clearinghouse Awards. The U.S. EAC opened submissions for its Clearinghouse Awards this past February, and over 100 applications were submitted nationwide. Twenty-four entries, including Nassau County for its Vote Nassau FL mobile app, were recognized. The app was released prior to the 2022 election cycle and allows voters to stay connected to current election information.
This honorable mention recognition and the Vote Nassau FL mobile app support the continued effort to build trust, create transparency in the elections process and promote communication with the voters of Nassau County. “We are humbled to receive this recognition.
