Amelia Island Opera Presents: A Night in Seville

Amelia Island Opera is delighted to present our last concert of the 2022-23 Season, A Night in Seville. Enjoy an evening of music from operas set in Seville, Spain including Bizet’s Carmen, Mozart’s Don Giovanni and The Marriage of Figaro, Man of la Mancha, and, of course, you’ll hear the famous “Largo al factotum” from Rossini’s The Barber of Seville!

Sit back and enjoy opera’s most popular music performed by Amelia Island Opera Co-Founders Victoria Isernia, Robyn Marie Lamp, and John Tibbetts. Joining them will be tenor Isaac Hurtado. “Money-notes worth every penny,” “wonderful acting,” “movie star good looks,”and “passionate elegance” are just a few of the phrases used by critics to describe Isaac. Ukrainian Pianist Daria Ruzhynska, last seen in Amelia Island Opera’s double bill of Bon Appétit and Service Provider, will lead this quartet of talented singers from the piano.

This performance will take place on May 9 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Amelia Plantation Chapel, 36 Bowman, Amelia Island.
