Only moments after the 34 guilty charges were announced, Sequoia Capitol Partner Shaun Maguire made a $300,000 donation to Trump’s 2024 campaign. According to the Sequoia Capitol website, Maguire has partnered with Elon Musk’s successful Boring Company since 2020. “I just donated $300k to President Trump. The timing isn’t a coincidence,” Maguire wrote in a tweet. In another tweet, Maguire included a link that takes the reader to a comprehensive explanation for his decision to donate $300,000 to President Trump following the NYC jury’s decision: “I just donated $300k to Trump. Upside-Down Flags Outside CA Library Signal the People’s Whirlwind for Trump
In a silent yet devastatingly effective protest against the guilty verdict leveled at former President Donald Trump, during the night of May 30-31, 2024, one or more individuals modified a Memorial Day display of American flags outside the Monrovia, California Public Library by turning the flags upside down.
It’s interesting to note that even if identification of the perpetrator or perpetrators comes to be, no criminal charges can be filed against them as they committed no crime. The flags were neither damaged nor desecrated. One is hard-pressed to argue against the current environment not being one of dire distress, with extreme danger to our constitutional republic and its systems of checks and balances among the three governmental branches coming not from outside forces, but within.

GOP Senators Vow To Nix Funding for “Partisan Lawfare”
Eight conservative senators, led by Utah Republican Mike Lee, released a joint statement vowing to end their support for Democratic priorities in the chamber, including certain types of funding for the Biden administration and confirmation of appointees. The letter is their response to the conviction of former President Donald Trump on Thursday, an outcome that made mockery of the rule of law,” the senators wrote. The senators are ostensibly taking aim at the Department of Justice for what they called “partisan lawfare.”
“Those who turned our judicial system into a political cudgel must be held accountable,” Lee said in separate post to X, adding, “we are no longer cooperating with any Democrat legislative priorities.”
