Young Life is Christian Ministry for teens who don’t attend religious services. We go into the community and meet teens where they are, form relationships and, hopefully, bring them to Christ. We have programs in the schools, bible studies in various places in the county and host sports nights. This year we started a program for special needs students giving them a time outside of school for food, fun, and friendship. Our newest program ministers to the students in Nassau County’s Adult and Alternative Schools. These are students who, by either academic issues or behavioral problems, have been removed from the regular schools. Many of these students are marginalized and told they have no value. These are the students that need us most. As you can see, Young Life is a Foreign Missions with a local zip code. For more information visit us at nassauco.younglife.org.
Young Life is self-funded and the TopGolf fundraiser is vital to our success. Tickets cost $100 and include 2 hours of TopGolf and dinner. Entertainment and a silent auction are also included. Proceeds from the fundraiser help us expand our ministry further into Nassau County and to defray the cost of summer camp for students unable to afford the cost.
