Press Release
By We the People
10-21-24
To We the People – The folks who are working as volunteers in the devastated disaster areas of eastern TN / western North Carolina are very concerned that the initial round of volunteers are going to leave and there will be few volunteers to replace them–yet the continued need for assistance is huge and will be for quite some time.
Some are saying the deaths may ultimately be in the 5-figures. Many adults and children are yet to be found. Rivers have completely changed routes and directions. Roads have been cut off, with many completely destroyed. Bridges are down.
Please consider donating your time, or reach out to friends and/or family who may be able and willing to volunteer their time and efforts for a week (or more), especially those with the following skills, experience, or aptitudes:
– Assisting with building shelters
– First Responders
– Search and Recovery experience
– Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs)
– Former Military Combat Engineers
– Pastors, Chaplains, or Assistant Pastors to pray with and offer spiritual guidance to the lost, homeless, and bereaved
– Heavy construction workers
– Plumbers
– Electricians
– Repairmen of all kinds
Volunteers (especially father / son / brother teams or 3-4 guy friends) are encouraged to contact the following organizations to offer their skills:
– END27.org (which forwards to Donor box.org/OY6-Relief)
– VetChaplainCorp.org (go to the Volunteer tab)
– USMensAcademy.com (email them at Contact@USMens…)
– DonaldJTrump.com/hurricane (complete the Volunteer to Help form)
God bless YOU for helping in anyway you can…the hurricane relief needs are huge.
