Your local action could have national impact
To We the People – Several of you have asked me, “What can I do to get more involved in saving our country?”… beyond simply attending our WTP meetings and signing up to be a poll watcher during elections, etc.

Depending on your interests, strong suits, and availability, I’ve made various recommendations to some of you during one-on-one conversations. But here’s a few more suggestions for everyone:

Become a Precinct Committee(wo)man

Before I go into detail about being a Precinct Committeeman/woman, I’ll admit that the Nassau County GOP / REC website leaves a lot to be desired. Assuming you can even find it, who would think it would be SAFE to click on a website called “CKirkland62.wixsite.com/republican-party-of/blank-1”? The Grand Old Party of Nassau County clearly needs some IT help (so there’s one suggestion).

Anyway, in case you are not aware, the Republican Party of Nassau County is VERY short on Precinct Committeemen/women (like we only have about 30% of these critically important positions filled!).

Granted, you may not be aware of what this volunteer role entails, as you won’t even find it listed on the CKirkland62 website. But…thanks to a couple of our WTP members who happen to be on the REC leadership team, and thanks to some of my other friends who’ve been involved in the REC of Duval County, I have some valuable information to share with you about this role.

My understanding is that to serve as a Precinct Committeeperson, one must be elected–typically by vote of the REC members in attendance at a meeting (see below). The term of office is 4 years. Gentlemen can be committeemen, and ladies can be committeewomen. Each precinct has at least one of each. The total number of Committeemen/women in a given precinct is dependent on the number of registered R voters within the precinct (i.e., 1 each per 1,000 registered repubs: under 1,000 R’s = 1 each; under 2,000 R’s = 2 each, etc.).

According to their rules–Article IV REC Membership and Vacancies; Section 1: Requirements of Membership and Procedure for Filling vacancies – A vacancy in the office of precinct committeeman or committeewoman shall be filled by a qualified member of the Republican Party residing in the precinct where the vacancy occurred. Any person desiring to fill a precinct vacancy shall:

1. Attend 3 out of 4 consecutive regularly scheduled monthly meetings of the REC.

2. Secure sponsorship for nomination.

3. Complete and submit the REC Application for Membership at least 30 days prior to nomination for membership.

4. At the third attended regularly scheduled meeting, provided a quorum is present, the sponsor will nominate the candidate and a vote will be taken by secret ballot.

5. If the vote is in the affirmative, the Recording Secretary will provide to the candidate for membership the required paperwork (RPOF Loyalty Oath and SOE Loyalty Oath). If the vote is negative, the candidate shall be denied membership and may not apply again for membership for a period of one year.

6. Candidate must return required paperwork within 7 days of receipt of Recording Secretary. Failure to return the required paperwork will require restarting the process.

7.Recording Secretary, within 7 days after receipt of required paperwork, shall submit the Loyalty Oaths to the RPOF and Supervisor of Elections Office along with the updated Membership Listing. Upon receipt of the Supervisor of Elections Loyalty Oath and the RPOF Loyalty Oath, the candidate will become a member of the REC.

8. At the next scheduled REC Meeting after submission of the Required Paperwork by the Recording Secretary, the Candidate will be sworn is as a member of the REC.

BTW, anyone who is an incumbent Precinct Committee(wo)man who wishes to continue serving for another term must complete NEW Loyalty Oath forms to requalify between 6/10/24 and 6/14/24.

Per the CKirkland62 website: We meet the 3rd Thursday of each month at Shuckers Oyster Bar and Grill (96008 Wades Place, Fernandina Beach, FL, 32034). The meetings start at 7PM and all Republican guests are welcome. The NEXT meeting of the RPONC will be on May 16th. The speaker will be the Nassau County Clerk of the Circuit Court and Comptroller, John Crawford.

Rest assured, the Precinct Committee(wo)man position is vital to ensuring we get conservatives registered to vote (as Republicans) and do whatever it takes to get them to the polls on election day!

More importantly, this may be the most important election year of our lives. Would you rather have Biden for another 4-years….? And don’t forget how important the proposed Amendments to the Florida Constitution are, which up for a vote in November.~~~

Speaking of the Amendments on the November ballot, the two heavy hitters are: Amendment 4 – which would allow unrestricted abortion on demand up until birth [very deceptively written] Amendment 3 – Legalizes recreational marijuana

Governor Ron DeSantis says vote NO on both of these Amendments. Regardless of whether you are Pro-Choice or Pro-Life, check out these two websites for more details on Amendment 4:

Speaking of Republicans, kudos to the brand new:

Duval County Republican Assembly

My husband, Chris and I were invited to attend the first “regular” meeting of the newly formed Duval County Republican Assembly this week. State Senator Clay Yarborough, who will be speaking to We the People on June 3rd at Shuckers, was the key-note speaker at the Duval Republican Assembly. Overall, IMHO, the meeting was interesting, energetic and cohesive. If I lived in Duval County, I would join ($35/year membership).

Their tagline is: “The Voice of Republican Voters.

“Their brochure says: “The Duval County Republican Assembly was created to unite conservatives for the purpose of preserving the constitutional order upon which our republic was founded and to defend the Judeo-Christian values that are the bedrock of Western civilization. Our mission is to defeat the radical agenda of the Left and to turn back the assault on our history, values, and institutions.

“The Duval County Republican Assembly (“The Assembly”) is a grassroots organization chartered by Florida Republican Assembly and the National Federation of Republican Assemblies. Although we share most of the same goals, ‘Assembly’ organizations operate independently of the Republican National Committee and the Republican Party of Florida.”

The independence allows the Assembly to do what county-level Republican Party organizations aren’t allowed to do. For example, the Assembly can endorse Republican candidates in Primary Elections, it can hold our elected officials accountable by publishing and openly criticizing their voting records and it can take official positions on matters of public policy.

“When it meets, the Assembly does so as a deliberative body that gives every member a voice. Our members are encouraged to speak their minds and to take an active role in the work of the Duval County Republican Assembly.”

They intend to hold meetings every four to six weeks, and they intend to provide remote access for members who are unable to participate in person. If you have conservative friends in Duval County who may be interested, let them know they can text (904) 610-8802 to request more information. Twenty-Twenty

It’s not over yet….

As you know, I follow a great many alt-media journalists and podcasters. One I haven’t mentioned in a while, but whom I had the pleasure of meeting in April 2021 at the Health and Freedom Caucus: How to Rebuild America conference in Broken Arrow (Tulsa) Oklahoma, was Jeffrey Prather.Jeff Prather’s podcast from yesterday is chock full of important insights…too many for me to even to attempt to summarize here. It’s faster if you just listen to his interviews with:

Garland Favorito, co-founder and elections director of VoterGA.org, on what is really going on in GA (re: the latest breaking findings on “the great GA cheat of twenty twenty”), and

Dr. Lee Merritt, an orthopedic and spinal surgeon who served 10+ years as a Navy physician and surgeon, on what really caused the great “Spanish Flu” epidemic of 1918, and what has really happened to the health of our military.

This 80-minute podcast is well worth the time. It’s a shocker:

In case you can’t hear Garland Favorito’s video testimony at the beginning (where he calls for a real investigation into the QR Code mismatch error, which systematically under-counts votes and was found in 65 of 67 counties analyzed in GA in 2020….an error which was undetected by observers but shows up in system log files from 20, 21, and 22), you can listen to this 2.5-minute segment of his official testimony:
