Press Release

08-08-24

We’re getting close to primary election day, which is on Tuesday, August 20, and there are many ways that you can vote and make your voice heard in our local Nassau County races that, based on our county’s registered voters, will largely be decided during the primary election.

Nassau County has come a long way. Nassau County has tentatively approved lowering the millage rate, keeping taxes low; Nassau County has tentatively approved a balanced budget that responsibly funds services and maintenance and invests in capital assets; and Nassau County has received a higher credit rating.

This is a 180 from where the county used to be, and having the right leadership is important to ensuring that we continue the current path that we’re on.

Learn more below about how you can vote in the primary election.
