Ken Timmerman’s Threat Watch www.kentimmerman.com, 12-8-23

Vladimir Putin has not been deterred.

He has not been wounded by U.S. and international sanctions, nor has his army faltered faced with the huge influx of Western military gear and intelligence support the Ukrainians have received in recent months. ($110 billion from the US alone, and Biden wants another $60 billion!).

Russia is richer today than it was before its invasion of Ukraine, and Putin’s grip on power is as strong as ever (as far as we can see through the glass darkly).

On Wednesday, Vlad flew to the UAE and Saudi Arabia, poking his fingers in the eyes of John Kerry, who was still hanging around the endless parties at the COP 28 Climate “summit.” He also poked his fingers in the eyes of Joe Biden, who has been all bluster in his threats against Putin, and little action.

Putin was also seeking to weaken the Abraham Accords which, thanks to President Trump, forged peace between Israel and five if its Muslim neighbors.

Long gone are the love notes he shared with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, or the “red phone” Israeli military leaders used to consult with the Kremlin ahead of striking Hezbollah targets in Syria to deconflict those attacks with the Russian air operations.

Now there is talk of the Wagner Group supplying Hezbollah with sophisticated air defense systems, which could complicate future Israeli air strikes.

This is what happens when you have a U.S. president who makes empty threats against serious powers. Hello, Joe: that is Rule One of world politics. Don’t make a threat you are not willing to carry out. Ask Qassem Suleymani what that means in the real world.

I talk about these issues, as well as the choice the U.S. now faces in Ukraine, and the rise of left-wing anti-Semitism in the United States and Europe, on my weekly segment on Prophecy Today Weekend. As always, you can listen live by using the Jacksonville Way Radio app or in the Jacksonville, Fl, area on 104.9 FM or 550 AM. Otherwise, the podcast is available later here.

In case you missed it, I wrote this month’s cover story for Newsmax magazine on the threat posed by Iran to the United States, our friends, and allies. I think you will find it a compelling read.

Yours in freedom,
Ken

PS: For those of you who didn’t get my special email yesterday, my new book,  Raising Olives in Provence: A Guide for Body and Soul, will be released next week.

While it is definitely a fun-filled portrait of Provence, unwrapping people and places with laugh-out-loud humor, it is also gives you a glimpse of how I recharge my batteries after the horrors of war and persecution.

I would be honored if you would pre-order the book today from Amazon, using this link

Pre-orders are tremendously important for an author,
because they tell the publisher how big a print run to do. No pre-orders, few books. Big pre-orders, big print run. It’s as simple as that.

And to those of you who did get yesterday’s email and pre-ordered the book, a big thank-you.

Ken Timmerman’s 12th book of non-fiction, AND THE REST IS HISTORY: Tales of Hostages, Arms Dealers, Dirty Tricks, and Spies, is now available from PostHill Press.

AND THE REST IS HISTORY can be ordered directly from Amazon by clicking here or by viewing my author’s page, here.
