 Good Friday afternoon Blessings on this Good Friday afternoon. Once again, the Biden national security team seems to be living in an alternate universe. The White House on Thursday released an unclassified summary of its Afghanistan after-action report, and it’s predictable: it blamed every failure squarely on Trump. Trump left the Biden administration “no plan” for withdrawal, the report said. Trump’s agreement with the Taliban “severely constrained” the incoming administration. Even more pathetic, according to NSC spokesman John Kirby, was the notion that the short transition between administrations left them no time for planning. Here’s the truth: the withdrawal plan was put together under the responsibility of Mark Milley, chairman of the Joint Chiefs. Guess who as responsible for the actual evacuation plan? The same Mark Milley.As usual, this administration is living in an alternative universe, where facts don’t matter. Similarly, team Biden is claiming they were “taken by surprise” when the Chinese recently negotiated a deal between Saudi Arabia and arch-rival Iran. So what have all of our diplomats and spies been doing for the past two years? (Hint: they were blaming Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince for the gruesome murder of Qatari agent and occasional opinion writer, Jamal Kashoggi.).I discuss this and Russia’s taking of a U.S. hostage and much more on my weekly segment on Prophecy Today Weekend.
