‘Anti-Woke’ Firms PublicSq and Rumble Sponsor Florida GOP’s Presidential Candidate Forum

Two Florida companies dedicated to conservative shopping and video-sharing interests announced Friday they’re backing the state GOP’s presidential candidate forum next month.
The twin sponsorships by PublicSq and Rumble of the Nov. 4 Florida Freedom Summit underscore the ongoing political fragmentation of the marketplaces of ideas and of shoppers in an era of increasing partisan division.
“With Rumble developing a censorship-free platform and PublicSq helping to bring sanity back to the economy by identifying the non-WOKE companies, the Florida GOP is excited to work alongside both companies as we showcase the Republican candidates for President at the Florida Freedom Summit,” the state party’s GOP chair, Christian Ziegler, said in a written statement.
Rumble was founded amid conservative complaints of Big Tech censorship, particularly on YouTube. And PublicSq is a growing company positioning itself as an anti-Woke Amazon where shoppers can buy products from companies linked to conservatives. Both are Florida based.
PublicSq board member Omeed Malik noted that the event will be the first in Florida to feature both of the state’s presidential contenders, former President Donald Trump and Gov. Ron DeSantis.
