There are so many stories making up the mosaic of national/international news that we can’t cover them all every week. The biggest stories now seem to be: election, Trump lawfare, immigration, wars, massive orchestrated ‘Palestine’ protests/riots, weaponization of government, our nation going bankrupt, massive inflation, phony climate change controversy and related expenses of government/industry attempting to address these issues, and the Chinese threat. So here are just a few:

Speaker Johnson Demands Zelensky Fire Ambassador Over ‘Partisan Campaign Event’ At Pennsylvania Ammo Plant
Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) called for Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelenksy to fire the Ukrainian Ambassador to the United States over Zelensky’s “partisan campaign event” at an ammunition plant in battleground Pennsylvania.
Zelensky’s Sunday visit to an ammunition plant in the battleground state of Pennsylvania drew quick criticism from Republicans. The trip was hosted by Gov. Josh Shapiro (D-PA), one of Vice President Kamala Harris’s top surrogates in her campaign for the presidency.
Zelensky reportedly flew to the campaign-style event on the dime of the American taxpayer. Pennsylvania is widely viewed as a must-win state for Harris.
The ambassador, Oksana Markarova, is a familiar face around Washington, appearing often with members on both sides of the aisle. Zelensky has given no indication he will oblige Johnson. Yet Johnson insists her ability to perform her job has been compromised.
He said the Pennsylvania event “failed to include a single Republican because – on purpose – no Republicans were invited. The tour was clearly a partisan campaign event designed to help Democrats and is clearly election interference. This shortsighted and intentionally political move has caused Republicans to lose trust in Ambassador Markarova’s ability to fairly and effectively serve as a diplomat in this country.”

New York City Mayor Eric Adams Indicted By Grand Jury In Federal Corruption Probe
New York City’s Democrat Mayor Eric Adams has just been indicted by a grand jury as part of an ongoing federal corruption probe. The indictment marks the first time in the city’s history that a sitting mayor has faced such charges while in office. The details of the indictment remain sealed, and it is currently unclear what specific charge or charges Mayor Adams will be facing.
The Gateway Pundit reported on Tuesday that the FBI is now expanding its investigation into possible illegal foreign donations, focusing on Adams’ suspicious connections with at least six foreign countries, including Turkey, Israel, China, Qatar, South Korea, and Uzbekistan.
Investigators are particularly focused on whether the Adams administration was involved in pushing through a new high-rise Turkish consulate in New York despite glaring fire safety concerns.
FBI agents also conducted coordinated raids on the residences of a New York City Hall staffer, a former Turkish Airlines executive, on the same day the FBI conducted a raid on the Bookly residence of Brianna Suggs, the chief fundraiser for New York City Mayor Eric Adams. The searches, which began early on November 2, targeted Brianna Suggs, Mayor Adams’s chief fundraiser; Rana Abbasova, an aide in his international affairs office; and Cenk Öcal, a former Turkish Airlines executive who was on Adams’s transition team.
Earlier this year, FBI agents descended on the Bronx home of Winnie Greco, a top aide who is under investigation for using her position to benefit her improperly. Earlier this month, the FBI conducted sweeping raids at the home of First Deputy Mayor Sheena Wright and her romantic partner, Schools Chancellor David Banks, as well as the Hollis, Queens residence of Deputy Mayor for Public Safety Phil Banks. The FBI also executed raids on the homes of New York Police Department (NYPD) Commissioner Edward Caban and Police Chief Jeffrey Maddrey.

US Could Be Inches Away From Another Economic Crisis As Massive Port Strike Looms
Ten of thousands of dockworkers could go on strike on Oct. 1 in a move that experts say could wreak havoc on American supply chains and reignite the rapid inflation seen in the early years of the Biden-Harris administration.
The International Longshoremen’s Association (ILA) — which represents more than 85,000 workers at three dozen U.S. ports along the East Coast and Gulf of Mexico and whose members collectively handle about half of the U.S.’ maritime imports — has threatened to go on strike for the first time since 1977 if their wage and automation protection demands are not met by the United States Maritime Alliance (USMX) — the coalition representing shipping employers. The move could cost the U.S. economy roughly $5 billion a day in trade, and would massively disrupt supply chains in a way not seen since the COVID-19 pandemic, causing rapid inflation and hiking the cost of living for everyday Americans, experts told the Daily Caller News Foundation.
The impending dockworkers strike could result in “a sharp rise in shipping costs, similar to the supply chain disruptions seen during the COVID-19 pandemic, which contributed to price increases throughout 2021 and 2022,” Peter C. Earle, senior economist at the American Institute for Economic research, told the DCNF. “While estimates vary, the Cleveland branch of the Federal Reserve alleges that 40 to 60 percent of the increase in prices in the post-pandemic period, particularly in the energy, food, and shipping sectors, were driven by gummed-up supply chains.”
Inflation skyrocketed in 2021 and 2022 amid COVID-19 supply chain backups caused by emergency factory closures, sick workers and challenges getting goods across borders. The inflation rate, which sat at just 1.4 percent under former President Donald Trump, peaked at 9.1 percent in June 2022 and only fell back below 3 percent in July.

Informants Claim Trump’s Plane Targeted For Assassination — Nine Surface-To-Air Missiles Smuggled into U.S.
Recent X posts have indicated that “9 surface to air missiles have entered the U.S. through a New Mexico border point of entry.”
he Gateway Pundit spoke to Dr. Pete Chambers, a former Army Lt. Col. and Green Beret, who first went public with the story and has devoted years of his life to protecting the southern border. On the evening of September 22, he received a report from a confidential informant. The next morning, Chambers said a second informant corroborated this report with a colleague close to Chambers by the name of Bazzel Baz.
The informants had received information that nine surface-to-air missiles (SAMs) had crossed into the United States via a point of entry (POE). Both Chambers and Baz were told specifically that these were Misagh-3 missiles of Persian origin. However, Chambers said, “despite their origin, he said it is not necessarily indicative of Iranian involvement until proven otherwise.”
Regardless of the potential for Iranian involvement, Chambers said, “there is credible evidence that there are three three-man teams of non-Persian origin inside the United States.” He also disclosed that “a second tranche of information identified former president [Donald] Trump’s airplane as the target.”
“The shoulder fired missile system is typically used for a low and slow target, like a plane or helicopter taking off or landing,” the former Green Beret explained, adding that he cannot understand how nine of the missile systems could make it across the border at a POE.
Chambers argued, “the only way you can get this through is by paying somebody off at a POE.” Although he is “not pointing fingers at Border Patrol or anybody,” he said, “it either happened this way or there was some kind of diversion.”

Republicans Give FCC Hard Deadline To Hand Over Documents Related To George Soros
Republicans in the House Oversight Committee have given the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) a hard deadline to provide documents related to what it has deemed as a potential attempt to “interfere” in the elections by granting expedited approval to the purchasing of over 200 radio stations. Committee Chairman James Comer and Rep. Nick Langworthy said that George Soros, who has historically donated to the Democratic Party, is attempting to “purchase $415 million in debt in a Chapter 11 reorganization of Audacy, Inc., a company that owns over 200 radio stations.”
The letter, addressed at FCC Chair Jessica Rosenworcel, claims that Soros is also a “financier of organizations advocating for speech restrictions and censorship of conservatives online.” It adds that FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr noted during a recent hearing that the review process for the acquisition of Audacity, Inc. is “not following” the usual steps. “‘The full commission itself has never signed off on a shortcut like this,'” he said in reference to foreign ownership of media companies, considering Soros is Hungarian.
With that in mind, the Republican lawmakers say that the FCC is appearing to “just expediting, but bypassing an established process to do a favor for George Soros and facilitate his influence over hundreds of radio stations before the November elections.”
They therefore give the FCC until October 3 to provide documents and communications related to licenses associated with Audacy, Inc. or Soros Fund Management, to actions taken by the FCC related to the licenses and “all documents and communications containing the term “George Soros” or the term “Soros Fund Management.”

Hamas Leader Killed In Israel Air Strike Was United Nations Employee
Fateh Sherif was, supposedly, an educator — the principal of Deir Yassin Secondary School. He was also an employee of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine (UNRWA). Sherif also moonlighted as a Hamas leader, responsible for coordinating Hamas actions with Hezbollah, including recruiting and logistics operations. The UNRWA is finally admitting he was one of theirs.
It’s important to note that Sherif had been living this not-so-subtle double life for some time now, and the UNRWA seemed to notice only after they came under scrutiny for some of their members providing support for, if not actually taking part in the Oct 7th attacks on Israel — and for stealing and reselling humanitarian aid meant for non-Hamas Gazans.
The UN, I remind you, less than a year ago, chose Iran to chair a human rights meeting. Iran, one of the most brutally repressive Islamic theocracies on the planet, was tapped to not only participate in but to chair a UN meeting on human rights.
