There are so many stories making up the mosaic of national/international news that we can’t cover them all every week. The biggest stories now seem to be: election, Trump lawfare, immigration, wars, massive orchestrated ‘Palestine’ protests/riots, weaponization of government, our nation going bankrupt, massive inflation, phony climate change controversy and related expenses of government/industry attempting to address these issues, and the Chinese threat. So here are just a few:

George Soros Acquires Another Media Company As Conservatives Ponder Strategies
Republicans are up in arms over liberal megadonor George Soros’s increasing stranglehold of the media landscape, even while some conservatives ask why Republican donors are not adopting similar outside-the-box tactics to shape public opinion. The anti-Soros fervor has been reanimated by a federal government fast-track of Soros’s purchase of Audacy, a massive media empire housing more than 200 radio stations in 40 markets.
Breitbart News exclusively reported on a letter from Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) to FCC Chairwoman Jessica Rosenworcel on Oct. 10 demanding answers on the commission expediting a Soros-back nonprofit’s purchase of Audacy just weeks before Election Day, sounding the alarm on the FCC for bypassing a national security review necessary for purchases on that scale financed by foreign funds. Other Republicans, including lawmakers Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Rep. Chip Roy (R-TX), have sounded the alarm on the FCC’s decision — reportedly a 3-2 decision made along party lines.
But the FCC is unlikely to reverse its decision, and conservatives are concerned with the purchase’s impact on the tight 2024 election and beyond as Soros increases his reach. “What you now have is a left-wing Looney Tune who has access to millions of people in every market in the United States of America,” David D. Smith, the executive chairman of the Sinclair Broadcast Group media conglomerate, told Gabe Kaminsky of the Washington Examiner. “That’s scary.”
Soros, a billionaire boogeyman for conservatives who has successfully funneled a fortune towards radical liberal causes and politicians, is at the peak of his influence. Some conservatives worry that the 94-year-old’s mission he will continue through his son, 38-year-old Alex Soros.

Senior Pentagon Employee Named As Leaker Of Israeli Retaliatory Strike Plans To Iran – Was Previously Outed As Iran Spy But Was Kept On Anyway
House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) confirmed on Sunday that the U.S. government is now investigating the unauthorized release of these documents, which are believed to have originated from the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency and the National Security Agency. Now, a senior Pentagon official has been identified as the primary suspect in a classified leak involving the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) plan to strike Iran.
The American official under suspicion has been named as Ariane Tabatabai, an Iranian-American scholar of political science who currently serves as a senior policy advisor at the Pentagon.
The JewishPress.com reported: A Pentagon official told Sky News in Arabic that the investigation being conducted by intelligence agencies in Washington into the leaking to Tehran documents of the IDF plan to strike Iran has begun to indicate “suspicion” of the involvement of a senior employee in the Pentagon. The American official added that the employee suspected of leaking the documents is an American of Iranian origin named Ariane Tabatabai.
Ariane Tabatabai is an Iranian-American scholar of political science, writer, and senior policy advisor to the United States Department of Defense. After the Biden administration took office in January 2021, she joined the US negotiating team in nuclear negotiations with Iran. Between 2021 and 2022, she served as an advisor to Robert Malley, the chief promoter of pushing a deal with Iran at any cost.
Members of the US Congress, especially Republicans, have pointed out that Robert Malley was investigated after being suspected of having dealt with classified information without prior permission and of having secret contacts with Iranian figures.

Florida Could Become Abortion-Destination State if Proposed Constitutional Amendment Passes
Abortion is on the ballot in Florida this November, and if voters codify the right to kill unborn babies into the state constitution, there will be far-reaching consequences for the entire southeastern region of the United States.
With every other surrounding state restricting abortion at some time in the first trimester of pregnancy, Florida would likely become an abortion destination state for the region, with Virginia as the next closest option. The measure, called Amendment 4 would essentially enshrine the right to abortion throughout pregnancy into the state constitution, allowing women in neighboring states with tighter restrictions to travel to obtain abortions later in pregnancy.
At present, Florida and every other nearby southern state either restrict abortion at six weeks or restrict abortion completely with limited exceptions, like North Carolina which restricts abortion at 12 weeks. But out of the 10 states with abortion on the ballot, the Sunshine State is the only one in the southeastern region with the opportunity to vote on an abortion-related proposed constitutional amendment this election cycle.
That means that while laws in states like Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Tennessee, and Mississippi will continue to restrict abortion for the foreseeable future, Florida could become an epicenter for the region, allowing the killing of unborn babies in abortion up to 24 weeks (considered the point of viability) and later in pregnancy “when necessary to protect the patient’s health, as determined by the patient’s healthcare provider.”
In 2023, more than 84,000 women had abortions in Florida, which is higher than most states. Out of those women, 7,736 reported being from out of state, up from 6,726 in 2022, 4,873 in 2021, and 3,988 in 2020, according to data from the Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA). The pro-abortion Guttmacher Institute released data at the time that found one of every three abortions in the South, and one in 12 across the United States, occurred in Florida.

‘Two Seconds’: Trump Reveals How Soon He’ll Fire Jack Smith After Taking Office
While speaking on the Hugh Hewitt radio program, President Donald Trump revealed how quickly he will remove special counsel Jack Smith upon returning to office.
Special counsel Smith has been a thorn in Trump’s side who has led the charge of multiple indictments against him.
According to CNN, Smith was appointed by Attorney General Merrick Garland to oversee the investigation into allegations that Trump tried to overturn the 2020 election results and mishandled classified documents. Despite a judge dismissing the case of the so-called mishandling of documents, Smith continues to appeal.
Smith continued to misuse the justice system against Trump after the Supreme Court ruling on presidential immunity. Smith then slimmed down his allegations that Trump was behind the Jan. 6 attacks and submitted a revised court filing to the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia in October that argued that he committed his “crimes” as a private citizen.
Newsmax reported that Smith claims Trump “used private actors and his campaign infrastructure to attempt to overturn the election results and operated in a private capacity as a candidate for office. ” Newsmax shared that Hewitt touched on these indictments during the show and presented Trump with how he might deal with this latest October indictment.
Hewitt told President Trump, “So, you’re going to have a very tough choice the day after you take the oath of office.” He explained, “You’re either going to have to pardon yourself, or you’re going to have to fire Jack Smith. Which one will you do?”
For President Trump, the answer is simple, “Oh, it’s so easy. It’s so easy.” He laid out his fool-proof plan, “He’s a crooked person. I would fire him within two seconds.”
This isn’t a new plan for Trump. In July, CNN reported that Trump told news reporters he wouldn’t keep Smith around after he is reelected. When askedwhether he would keep Smith, he asked, “Jack Smith? Why would I keep him?”

Operation ‘Days of Repentance’: All Israeli Aircraft Return Safely After Targeting Iran’s Missile Sites, Air Defenses
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) announced Saturday morning local time that all of the Israeli Air Force (IAF) aircraft that had participated in retaliatory attacks on Iran had returned safely after targeting missile and air defense sites.
The attack was in response to Iran’s large ballistic missile attacks on Israel — first in April, and then on October 1. The IDF dubbed the operation “Days of Repentance,” referring to the recent Jewish high holidays, and Iran’s attacks.
As Breitbart News reported, citing Israeli sources, the attack took place across the entire breadth of Iran, including sites in the north, south, east, and west, demonstrating Israel’s ability to reach deep into Iranian territory.

Trump Blasts Harris For Being At A ‘Dance Party With Beyonce’ As Israel Struck Iran
Former President Donald Trump blasted Beyonce for being at a “dance party with Beyonce” as Israel struck Iran. On Friday night, Trump spoke at a campaign rally in Traverse City, Michigan, and Vice President Kamala Harris held a rally with Beyonce in Houston, Texas. The Harris campaign posted a doctored clip of Trump’s speech on X and wrote, “Trump attacks Beyoncé for being at an event with Vice President Harris.”
Here’s what he said: “Tonight, the Middle East is a tinderbox. It’s ready to explode. People are being killed… Nobody is in charge. Joe Biden is asleep, and Kamala is at a dance party with Beyonce.”

Venture Capitalist David Sacks Calls Out Mainstream Media — Says Major Networks Should Lose Free Public Spectrum Licenses Since They Failed The Requirement To Serve Public Interest
Venture capitalist and tech entrepreneur David Sacks has called for a reevaluation of the broadcasting licenses held by major networks. Sacks contends that these networks have blatantly failed in their duty to serve the public interest, a requirement tied to their access to the public airwaves.
According to the Federal Communications Commission: Before we can renew a station’s license, we must first determine whether, during the preceding license term, the licensee has served the public interest, has not committed any serious violations of the Communications Act or the FCC’s rules, and has not committed other violations which, taken together, would constitute a pattern of abuse.
The FCC has stated that “rigging or slanting the news is a most heinous act against the public interest.” The Commission will investigate a station for news distortion if it receives documented evidence of rigging or slanting, such as testimony or other documentation, from individuals with direct personal knowledge that a licensee or its management engaged in the intentional falsification of the news. Of particular concern would be evidence of the direction to employees from station management to falsify the news.
The Hunter Biden laptop story, for instance, exposed critical issues surrounding the Biden family, from questionable business dealings to potential national security risks. Yet, the mainstream media either ignored it entirely or dismissed it as “Russian disinformation” to protect their preferred candidate. The story was sidelined, the facts brushed under the rug, and the public kept in the dark—all while a monumental cover-up unfolded before our eyes.
It doesn’t stop there. As President Biden stumbles through speeches, showing concerning signs of cognitive decline, the media’s silence is deafening. Rather than asking tough questions about his fitness for office, they treat these signs of decline as a “quirk” or “Biden being Biden.” Imagine if these behaviors came from a conservative figure—the relentless media assault would be swift and unforgiving.
On top of that, stories of vaccine injuries, an issue impacting thousands, have been either downplayed or ignored altogether. Instead, the media cherry-picks stories that fit their pro-establishment narrative, leaving Americans searching for alternative sources just to get the full picture.
Venture capitalist David Sacks thinks it’s time to reconsider this model. In a recent statement, Sacks criticized major networks like ABC, CBS, and NBC, claiming they have long abandoned their duty to serve the public interest.
Sacks wrote: “The major broadcast networks (ABC, CBS, NBC) operate on free licenses of public spectrum in exchange for requirements to serve the public interest. They no longer do, and this is an obsolete model anyway.
“The spectrum should be auctioned off, with the proceeds used to pay down the national debt. Of course, the networks can bid on the spectrum, and they will win if broadcast networks are still the most highly valued use.
“What’s more likely to happen is that valuable spectrum will be reapportioned to the next generation of wireless applications, unleashing many more interesting options for consumers and businesses. The networks can continue to operate on cable, like hundreds of other redundant channels.
