There are so many stories making up the mosaic of national/international news that we can’t cover them all every week. The biggest stories now seem to be: election, Trump trials, immigration, wars, massive orchestrated ‘Palestine’ protests/riots, weaponization of government, our nation going bankrupt, massive inflation, phony climate change controversy and related expenses of government/industry attempting to address these issues, and the Chinese threat. So here are just a few:

Biden Just Betrayed Israel and Rewarded Hamas
We thought that President Joe’s Biden disastrous withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan was the worst foreign policy debacle we would see in this presidency. We were wrong. President Biden’s decision to withhold vital military resources from our ally Israel in the midst of a defensive war against Iran’s barbarous proxy, Hamas, takes the prize. Israel has had two goals for all its actions since Hamas swarmed across the border and massacred 1,200 Israelis on October 7: End the existential threat of Hamas and bring the hostages’ home. The overwhelming majority of Americans support Israel in this war and support Israel going into Rafah to finish the job. Rafah is the last stronghold where Hamas leaders are hiding deep underground in tunnels, surrounded by hostages—perhaps including the Americans still being held captive.
President Obama’s Secretary of Defense, Bob Gates, famously said that Joe Biden has been wrong on every major foreign policy decision over 40 years. Biden’s current stance proves Gates’s point, since it is wrong in so many ways, both practical and moral. Biden claims to be concerned about the safety of Palestinian civilians in Rafah, but he is preventing Israel from accessing the targeting technology that makes it easier to eliminate Hamas fighters without harming civilians. Reports indicate that Biden is holding back a previously delayed shipment of 3,500 bombs, including guided bombs, that were already loaded onto Air Force planes to go to Israel and have now been offloaded.

Riley Gaines Calls Out College Administrator for Making ‘Cowardly’ Gesture Behind Her During Commencement Speech
During Gaines’ commencement speech (at Adrian College—a liberal arts college in Michigan on May 5), one administrator decided to protest by draping himself in a trans flag — but only when Riley wasn’t looking. Gaines took to social media to call out the cowardly actions of the unidentified administrator, who draped a transgender flag over his shoulders as Gaines took the podium, only to remove it before she turned back around after her speech concluded. Meanwhile, Gaines message to the graduates was about the “virtue of courage, the importance of faith, and the fundamental value of freedom. These are traits and principles that we should all develop and live by.”

Eurovision Chaos: 10,000 Protest Jewish Singer Eden Golan
Thousands of pro-Hamas protesters took to the streets of Malmö again on Saturday in opposition to Israel’s participation in the Eurovision Song Contest being held in the multicultural Swedish city. Swedish police have estimated that between 8,000-10,000 anti-Israel demonstrators gathered in the center of Malmö to demand that Israeli Eurovision contestant Eden Golan be removed from the final. Golan, who is representing Israel with the song “Hurricane” — originally titled “October Rain” in reference to the October 7th Hamas terror attacks on Israel that left over 1,200 dead and saw hundreds taken hostage — has largely been confined to her hotel room during the contest over security concerns and has been under protection organized by Israel’s top security agency, Shin Bet.

Trump Blasts ‘Highly Conflicted’ Judge Juan Merchan
Former President Donald Trump slammed Judge Juan Marchan as “highly conflicted” after Michael Cohen wrapped up his first day of witness testimony in the New York v. Trump trial Monday. “We have a corrupt judge, and we have a judge who is highly conflicted, and he’s keeping me from campaigning,” Trump said outside of the courtroom. “He’s an appointed New York judge. He’s appointed. You know who appointed him? Democrat politicians. He’s appointed. He’s a corrupt judge and he’s a conflicted judge. And he’s not going to let us go out and campaign and get rid of this scam. This day is truly going to go down as a day of infamy for the New York legal system, which…the whole world is laughing now at the New York weaponized legal system,” Trump added.

Kennedy Given $8 Million Donation for Presidential Campaign
Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s Independent presidential campaign announced on Thursday, May 16, that it had successfully secured the necessary funding to achieve ballot access across all 50 states and the District of Columbia. This milestone, the campaign said, ensures that voters nationwide will have a third-party option in the upcoming presidential election. It was made possible by a large donation to the campaign from RFK Jr.’s Vice Presidential running mate Nicole Shanahan. The campaign in a press release said that in April Ms. Shanahan contributed an “additional $8 million” to the campaign, facilitating this achievement. Shanahan emphasized the broader implications of her own funds being put into the campaign.

Federal Court: Parents in Maryland School District Cannot opt K-5 Children Out of LGBTQ Curriculum
A federal court on Wednesday upheld a Maryland school district policy that does not allow parents to opt their young K-5 children out of curriculum about gender identity and sexuality. In a 2-1 panel decision released by the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, federal judges affirmed a lower court decision denying the request of religious parents to block the policy issued by the Montgomery County Public Schools (MCPS) board in March of 2023. Judge G. Steven Agee, a President George W. Bush appointee, wrote the majority opinion stating that parents did not present enough evidence to show that the policy violates the free exercise of their religion and their due process right to direct their children’s education.
