There are so many stories making up the mosaic of national/international news that we can’t cover them all every week. The biggest stories now seem to be: election, Trump trials, immigration, wars, massive orchestrated ‘Palestine’ protests/riots, weaponization of government, lawfare, our nation going bankrupt, massive inflation, phony climate change controversy and related expenses of government/industry attempting to address these issues, and the Chinese threat. So here are just a few:

Donald Trump: Biden’s Migration Is ‘Flat-Out Economic Warfare’ Against Americans
President Joe Biden’s mass migration policy is “flat-out economic warfare” against many Americans, former President Donald Trump will tell Arizona voters in a speech Thursday. “Biden wants an invasion — I want a deportation,” Trump will say, according to excerpts of the draft speech the Trump campaign provided to media outlets before Thursday’s speech in Phoenix, Arizona. “The Biden Invasion is no accident — it is a deliberate demolition of our sovereignty and our borders,” Trump is expected to say in the speech, which will include a broader focus on pocketbook damage to critical blocs of swing voters in the battleground state.
This year, Latino Americans will comprise more than a fifth of the electorate in Arizona, and many feel threatened by Biden’s policy of importing numerous foreign Latinos to compete for their jobs, housing, and education opportunities. Biden adopted his easy-migration policies because his progressive deputies think borders are bad for “equity.” Biden’s business allies want more consumers, more renters, and wage-cutting workers, and his Democratic Party base wants more welfare clients and dependent voters.

Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs Busted Taking $400,000 in Apparent Bribe for State Contracts
Arizona Governor Katie Hobbs has come under fire once more over the “donations” to a dark money group for her inaugural events last year after it was reported that a state contractor’s six-figure donation led to millions in state funds.
The nonprofit she used was also headquartered at the same address as Coppersmith Brockelman PLC. This is the same Democrat law firm that represented Defendant Katie Hobbs in Kari Lake’s lawsuit to overturn the rigged 2022 midterm.
The donors to Katie Hobbs’ inauguration included Sunshine Residential Homes and its affiliates, who donated hundreds of thousands of dollars to later receive a previously denied rate increase for their youth group home services.
Even the far-left Arizona Republic is questioning Katie Hobbs and suggesting an investigation is in order.

A Look Back At D-Day: Why the World War II Invasion Remains Important on its 80th Anniversary
Eighty years ago, the D-Day invasion on June 6, 1944 didn’t play out perfectly. But officers and troops “sized up the situation, saw what had to be done, and did it,” wrote historian Stephen Ambrose.
Eighty years after it happened, D-Day – the largest land, sea and air invasion ever attempted – still resonates today. With the bold invasion of Nazi-held Europe on June 6, 1944, the Allied forces began turning the tide in World War II. On this 80th anniversary of that date, it is good to remember that it’s “one of the most famous single days in all of human history,” writes historian Garrett Graff in his new book out this week, “When the Sea Came Alive: An Oral History of D-Day.”
“Though there have been other days over the course of the last century that have re-routed our collective historical trajectory, one could argue that none has had more of an impact than the day 160,000 troops stormed the beaches of Normandy,” he writes.
Operation Overlord, the code name for the D-Day invasion, involved transporting of more than 150,000 infantry troops across the English Channel into German-occupied France. More than 1.5 million U.S. Army personnel had arrived in the U.K. by the end of May 1944 to participate or support the operation, according to the National World War II Museum. Overall, more than 2 million soldiers from the U.S. and 250,000 from Canada had arrived by June in preparation for, and to support, the invasion, according to History.com. Also delivered: 450,000 tons of ammunition as part of 7 million tons of supplies.
Operation Overlord also contained a fake operation called Operation Fortitude to convince Hitler the Allies would attempt to land in Norway and Pas-de-Calais in France, according to the Imperial War Museum. The plot, concocted over months, included a fake army, led by General George Patton, and readying in England for the channel crossing, notes History.com. Another fictitious force, the British Fourth Army, stationed in Scotland to threaten Norway where Hitler’s U-boats were based, “existed only on the airwaves,” wrote historian Stephen Ambrose in “D-Day: June 6, 1944: The Climactic Battle of World War II.” British officers and German spies sent realistic radio messages to convince the Germans of the operation’s authenticity and wooden fake bombers were deployed.
These ruses were successful enough that Hitler considered the Normandy invasion, as it was initiated, was actually a ploy to divert attention from Calais. “They had placed the bulk of their panzer divisions north and east of the Seine River, where they were unavailable for counterattack in Normandy,” wrote Ambrose, who also authored “Band of Brothers.”

Judge Merchan Notifies Trump Attorneys, Prosecution of Social Media Post Giving Away Jury Verdict
Judge Juan Merchan, who oversaw former President Donald Trump’s business records trial, warned Trump’s attorney, Todd Blanche, and Manhattan Assistant District Attorney Joshua Steinglass of a comment from someone claiming to be the cousin of one of the jurors.
In a letter addressed to Blanche and Steinglass, Merchan revealed that the court was “aware of a comment” posted to the Facebook page for the Unified Court System, in which a Facebook user revealed the jury’s guilty verdict a day before Trump was convicted. “Today, the Court became aware of a comment that was posted on the Unified Court System’s public Facebook page and which I now bring to your attention,” Merchan wrote.
Under New York law, “a defendant can move to vacate a verdict on the basis of juror misconduct if and only if he can prove, by a preponderance of the evidence,” that there was misconduct, and that the misconduct “created a substantial risk of prejudice,” according to NBC News.

Father of Israel Hostage Almog Jan ‘died of grief” hours before son’s rescue
The father of rescued Israeli hostage Almog Meir Jan “died of grief” just hours before his son was rescued and returned home. Yossi Meir, 59, died of a heart attack before the news broke out that the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) had freed his son in a raid on the town of Nuseirat in Gaza.
The army unable to contact Mr. Meir to tell him the news reached out to his sister Dina Jan instead. Ms. Jan, who said she “was so happy I didn’t know what to do,” rushed to Mr. Meir’s home in Kfar Saba, in the south of Israel. She found her brother had died, after months of agonizing waiting.
Ms. Jan told Israel’s Kan News: “I drove like crazy, I knocked, ‘Yossi, Yossi, Yossi’ and nothing. I got no answer.” The door of his house was open and I saw him sleeping in the living room. “I screamed ‘Yossi’ to him and he didn’t answer me. I saw the color of his skin, I touched him, but he was dead.” Mr. Meir had lost 20 kilograms since the capture, “glued to the television for the whole eight months, clinging to every piece of information. My brother died of grief and didn’t get to see his son return.”
The IDF said the operation to rescue Mr. Jan on Saturday was one of its most complex ever, with two separate rescues of four captives in broad daylight. The said troops came under heavy gunfire from hundreds of Hamas forces during the operation which brought together elite Israeli units in an undercover mission across air, land, and sea. One soldier, Amon Zamora, from Israel’s Yamam counter-terror unit was fatally injured.
Mr. Jan had been held along with Andrey Kozlov and Shlomi Ziv. Noa Argamani was rescued simultaneously from a second apartment in a heavily populated civilian area.
Ms. Argamani’s capture by Hamas on Oct. 7 came to define that brutal massacre after footage of her screaming as she was driven on a motorbike into Gaza was broadcast around the globe. On Saturday, she was reunited with her mother, who is terminally ill with brain cancer.
All four hostages had been taken by Hamas from the Super Nova music festival, where hundreds of partygoers were slaughtered. Including the four hostages recovered on Saturday, a total of seven have been rescue alive by the IDF. Another 19 bodies have been brought back to Israel and the IDF has now confirmed the deaths of 41 of the remaining 116 hostages still in Gaza.

Unaired Video Shows Nancy Pelosi Admitting Responsibility for Not Having National Guard at Capitol
New video footage provided to House Republicans reveals then-Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) admitting responsibility for not having the National Guard protect the Capitol building ahead of protests on January 6, 2021. The footage, Politico notes, “was shown in a video shot by the former speaker’s daughter, documentarian Alexandra Pelosi, and recently provided to congressional investigators by HBO.” It was never aired — nor did Alexandra Pelosi provide it to the January 6 Committee when it was supposedly investigating the Capitol riot. The January 6 Committee also never subpoenaed Speaker Pelosi or her daughter for documents about the riot.
The video substantiates claims by former President Donald Trump that Pelosi was responsible for failing to prepare sufficient security ahead of the protest. Trump offered the National Guard in the days before the “Stop the Steal” rally 6, but was refused. (Trump was later faulted by critics for not intervening quickly to send the Guard during the riot.)
Pelosi later rejected Republican nominees for the minority positions on the January 6 Committee — the first time in congressional history that the leader of the majority party had done so — and instead hand-picked two anti-Trump Republicans. The result was a completely one-sided investigation that declined to question Pelosi’s role in events. Despite the one-sided nature of the investigation, prosecutors have used its proceedings in criminal cases against Trump and his supporters.

Trump Campaign: Hunter Biden Verdict a ‘Distraction from the Real Crimes of the Biden Crime Family’
Hunter Biden’s guilty verdict is a “distraction from the real crimes of the Biden Crime Family,” Trump campaign national press secretary Karoline Leavitt said in a statement following the conviction.
Biden family members and Biden business-linked entities received more than $15 million from individuals in Ukraine, Russia, Kazakhstan, Romania, and China, according to the House impeachment inquiry.
Committee revealed in 2023 that CEFC controlled State Energy HK Limited, a Delaware jury on Tuesday found Hunter guilty on all three gun charges after only several hours of deliberating. Testimony from several witnesses during the trial said Hunter used drugs in 2018, the timeframe that he worked on foreign business deals with his family.
One of the biggest deals came when Biden’s family members accepted money from CEFC China Energy Co, an organization with close ties to the CCP. The House Oversight company linked to $1.3 million collective payments to the Biden family members.
