Americans faced a turning point. We could have chosen unprepared Kamala Harris and her annoying musings about Venn diagrams and yellow school buses and passages of time.
Instead, we overwhelmingly endorsed Donald Trump’s triumphant return as the U.S. president. And Trump is quickly schooling his predecessors and world leaders on his innovative diagrams for peace, prosperity and common-sense governance.
Clearly, the country turned in the right direction. As hairbrained Harris and impotent Joe Biden ride off into the sunset of obscurity. The American people rejected their insanity and corruption and welcomed the logic and proven leadership of Trump.
In Trump’s first frenzied week, foreign billionaires clamored to invest $1.1 trillion into the U.S. economy. Trump issued a flurry of executive orders, withdrew from detrimental organizations, ordered Russia to stop the war with Ukraine, established only two sexes, and began revamping a bloated federal government.
In other words, Trump already has a list of accomplishments the length and meaning of the Declaration of Independence. And he did not mince his words in his inauguration address.
Trump called Jan. 20 “Liberation Day” for the American people. History will define his election as the “the greatest and most consequential in the history of our nation,” he said.
“We will move with purpose and speed to bring back hope, prosperity, safety and peace,” Trump said, “for citizens of every race, religion, color and creed.”
It was frigid cold outside the Capitol on inauguration day, but warm and welcoming inside. (The inauguration address had to be moved indoors due to the harsh weather.) Regardless, it was a lovefest of happy, hard-working, God-fearing conservatives. In a city steeped in a liberal bias.
In addition, Trump has already caused upheavals in neighboring Canada and Mexico. Trump wants our neighbors to stop the inflow of illegal aliens and fentanyl into our country. And to treat us fairly in trade.
Trump is even renaming the Gulf of Mexico to the “Gulf of America.” It is his America-first duty. In comments last week, even Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis referred to the new Gulf of America.
Meanwhile, thousands of criminal illegal aliens are being rounded up like cattle on a West Texas ranch. And deported back to their home countries. Trump always keeps his campaign promises, if you remember.
In one telling scene, an illegal from Haiti was being arrested — and screamed at Trump. The unsavory illegal had a rap sheet that would make Jay-Z proud.
As the Haitian gangbanger told Trump to “F” himself, he praised Biden and Obama. “I’m not going back to Haiti. Biden forever, bro!” he yelled. It was so telling that it could have been a meme. It sums up the presidential transition in a few cryptic words.
Let’s enjoy the moments of the past week. And let the good times roll. This is a political revolution that will produce an economic renaissance like never before.
This passage of time over the next four years will be a beautiful one.
