The Board of County Commissioners and GreenPointe Communities, Inc., will host a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony next week celebrating completion of Phase One of the Tributary Regional Park. This phase consists of new a playground, athletic fields, a multi-use space, concession stand, and restroom facility. Future phases include additional athletic fields, a dog park, board walk with kayak launch, multi-use trails, and nature trails.
The park is a result of a public-private partnership between the Board of County Commissioners and the Developer, GreenPointe Communities, Inc. The Park is located on Edwards Road, just east of I-95 and although it’s adjacent to the Tributary community, it is a regional park that will be available for all Nassau County residents to enjoy.
