Regarding the recent lawsuit settlement about returning obscene books to our public school libraries-here’s my humble viewpoint as a native Fernandinian, Floridian and most importantly a tax payer required to pay for this craziness.
I’ve heard all the arguments about free speech, tolerance, and loving acceptance, I mean ALL the radical, Marxist talking points…. Remember how the teacher in the Charlie Brown videos sounded? Wah,wah,wah,wah? That’s what these misguided LGBTQ activists, School Board members, School Superintendent, and their attorneys sound like to me. The fact that some of them ran their election campaigns on the claim to be Christians is equally disturbing.
The BIG LIE that this is about Conservative Christian’s wanting to BAN BOOKS, could not be further from the truth. We only want age-inappropriate books removed. Liberals want to ban “To Kill a Mockingbird”, a classic book for generations because they deem it “racist”. This is about protecting children and not normalizing adult, alternative lifestyle, sexual behavior to CHILDREN! In reality, the real goal among the radicals is lawlessness, no boundaries, no morals, no ethics- whatever self-absorbed, sexual, hedonistic, it’s-all-about-me mentality they can promote. Chaos and crisis, division and hate, only works to give those in power more power; only the Government can save us, that’s what they want you to believe. The #1 Marxist/Socialist rule. I believe true Christ-following Patriots must protect citizens from their government’s tyranny. There is no way you can truly believe and worship the One True God, and go along with this Godless ideology.
When I was growing up, if any adult tried to talk to or show books with this content to someone else’s child, at best they would be punched in the face by the parent, or arrested. Now we think it’s ok to do this as part of our public education? If a parent thinks it’s ok,and wants to talk with their own child about sexual topics at a young age, that’s their business. But myself, and I am sure there are others, want that choice to be ours-not the public schools.
How in the world did we allow such Evil to permeate into our tax-payer funded public schools and libraries? Please explain to me how teaching children, who are not mature enough either mentally, physically or spiritually to handle books about explicit, adult alternative sexual lifestyles is acceptable to be promoted as part of our public education that we are forced to subsidize? It is neither loving or responsible for adults to be pushing their sexual, social & political agendas on our children. There is enough evil influence through Social Media and the world in general.
This will continue unless there are brave, Godly adults who are unafraid of social pressure or being called names-I am one, and that’s why I will continue to write letters to expose this evil, Godless agenda. And make no mistake, it is EVIL. God Bless Jack Knocke and Citizens Defending Freedom for fighting this. Please Pray for God’s intervention for our community and country, but meanwhile we all must STAND UP AND SPEAK OUT!
