Press Release From Office of Aaron Bean, 11-27-24 This week, as we prepare to celebrate Thanksgiving with our family and friends, I am reminded of the many blessings God has given us here in the Fourth District—blessings of freedom and prosperity. I know Abby and I are grateful for God and His guidance, the abundance of blessings in our lives, especially our family and our first grandchild (the most beautiful baby ever!), and that I have the honor of continuing my public service to the people of Florida’s 4th Congressional District in Congress. I hope you have the opportunity to gather with your loved ones while enjoying some delicious turkey, stuffing, and even some pecan pie. From our family to yours, I wish you a happy, safe, and healthy Thanksgiving. STARTING THANKSGIVING EARLY, SERVING MEALS TO NORTHEAST FLORIDIANS I was honored to serve a pre-holiday meal and spend time with our Fourth District seniors at the Janice Ancrum Senior Life Center in Fernandina Beach. This Thanksgiving, let’s remember to be thankful for life’s many blessings and keep giving back to our communities. CREATING BICAMERAL DOGE CAUCUS Our momentum has now spread across the Capitol! On Tuesday, November 19, I proudly launched the Delivering Outstanding Government Efficiency (DOGE) Caucus. On Friday, November 22, U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-IA) announced the creation of the DOGE Caucus in the Senate, and I am excited to partner with her on this project. With the enthusiasm in both the House and Senate, I’m even more confident we will be able to stop the abuse of taxpayer dollars. Read more HERE . SHORT RED SNAPPER SEASONWith reports that red snapper is increasing off the coast of Northeast Florida, I joined Congressman John Rutherford in urging National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Administrator Richard Spinrad to suspend area closures and from shortening the red snapper season. This unnecessary regulatory intervention is threatening the livelihoods of local businesses and the broader tourism industry. Learn more HERE . NEXT WEEK: GETTING AMERICA’S EDUCATION SYSTEM BACK ON TRACK In schools across the nation, our children are being indoctrinated with inappropriate material like Critical Race theory and transgender ideology. We must refocus our education system so that our children have the knowledge and skills to be successful. As Chairman of the Early Childhood, Elementary, and Secondary Education Subcommittee, I will be holding a hearing next week on the importance of curriculum that presents accurate instruction and promotes civic virtue in a self-governing society. You can watch the livestream on Wednesday, December 4th at 10:15am on the Committee’s YouTube page . BEAN TO FOX NEWS: ‘THE IRON IS HOT’ CLICK HERE TO WATCH As co-founder of the Bicameral DOGE Caucus, I joined Fox News at Night with Trace Gallagher to discuss how we are ready to work with President Trump’s DOGE to slash, cut and eliminate wasteful spending to make government more efficient.
