On Friday, I gave a press briefing on our work regarding the changes in crime and arrest rates over the last few years. Over thirty news organizations were present, and as of Friday evening, the New York Post and Breitbart had nicediscussions of my talk. A related new op-ed piece in Real Clear Politics discussed the US law enforcement’s collapse over the last few years. I also appeared on a number of radio shows to discuss the increase in crime: Lars Larson Show, Las Vegas’ Alan Stock Show, Bill Martinez Show, Richmond’s Morning News, and the giant WBT in Charlotte.
We have new research on the leftwing bias in Artificial Intelligence (AI) chatbots regarding crime and gun control. Unfortunately, as bad as their computer programs already were, the leftwing bias has become even worse.
Appearances on the Sebastian Gorka Show, the Larry Elder Show, and two different appearances on the Michigan Talk Network warned people about Kamala Harris’ and Tim Walz’s radical gun control proposals.
Another op-ed at The Federalist discusses our new research showing the egregious in the FBI’s active shooting reports and how they dramatically underestimate the rate that law-abiding people legally carrying guns stop active shootings. I talked about this on Wisconsin’s Vicki McKenna show.
Nikki Goeser and I also gave talks at the Gun Owners of America’s first annual convention in Knoxville, Tennessee. Nikki spoke briefly about how gun control can result in more deaths. I gave a talk on the collapse in law enforcement and the rise in violent and property crime over the last few years. I also appeared on a panel that addressed some of the false claims in the gun control debate.
We have continued collecting cases where people legally carrying guns in public have stopped crimes. Here are the cases that we collected for May. There is also a dramatic case of a good Samaritan who rescued a woman from being raped and having her car with her son in it carjacked.
We have continued compiling examples of media bias on guns. ABC’s The Rookie and CBS’ FBI International again have criminals using machine guns. After all, there are a lot of criminals using machine guns in Copenhagen!
