Biden Campaign Zoom Call With National Finance Committee… Did Not Go Well
The fallout – and palace intrigue – in Democrat/media circles continues after last Thursday’s presidential debate, which saw President Joe Biden confirm much of what his critics have long said about his mental acuity and cognitive health, raising big questions in the process about whether he should remain on the ticket.
As we noted Monday, Biden campaign officials have been scrambling to put donors at ease, with one call with about 40 donors being described as “tense.” Some even reportedly asked for their campaign donations to be refunded as talk turned to the possibility of Vice President Kamala Harris replacing Biden as the nominee.
During that same call, some attendees were “upset that they are just hearing campaign talking points.” As it turns out, an even bigger donor call, held Monday night via Zoom with their National Finance Committee, had some of the same complaints as donors felt like their concerns were not being taken seriously.

Rudy Giuliani Disbarred in New York For Challenging 2020 Election
President Trump’s former attorney Rudy Giuliani was disbarred in New York on Tuesday for challenging the 2020 election. A panel of judges in New York’s Appellate court accused Giuliani of intentionally making false statements to the courts related to his efforts to challenge the 2020 election. The panel of judges criticized Giuliani for his work exposing the corruption in Pennsylvania.

Biden Weighs Dropping Out of Presidential Race
President Joe Biden told an ally he is weighing whether to drop out of the presidential race, the New York Times reported Wednesday.
However, White House spokesman Andrew Bates claimed the leak was “absolutely false.”
“That claim is absolutely false. If the New York Times had provided us with more than 7 minutes to comment we would have told them so,” he posted on X. The leak to the Times represents frustration within the Biden campaign, which is reeling from a poor debate performance and subsequent calls for Biden to drop out of the race.

Senior Biden campaign officials are quietly pushing Kamala Harris as the top choice to replace Joe Biden if he drops out of the 2024 presidential race. Democrats are calling for Joe Biden to drop out of the 2024 presidential race after his disastrous debate performance.
White House reporters from Fox News, CBS, CNN, ABC, Reuters, AP, Bloomberg, Newsmax, and NBC on Tuesday repeatedly grilled Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre about Joe Biden’s cognitive decline following his disastrous debate performance.
One reporter point blank asked KJP if Biden has “Alzheimer’s or any form of dementia.”
The media is priming the public to accept Kamala Harris as Biden’s replacement. CBS News caught up with Kamala Harris outside of a Biden-Harris campaign fundraising event in McLean, Virginia on Tuesday evening. The CBS reporter confronted Kamala Harris about Democrats calling for Joe Biden to drop out.
“Some Democrats are calling on Biden to drop out of the race. What’s your response?” CBS News asked Kamala Harris. “Joe Biden is our nominee,” Kamala Harris said. “Are you ready to lead the country if necessary?” CBS News asked Kamala Harris responded: “I am proud to be Joe Biden’s running mate.”

Biden Looks for July 4th Celebrations to Energize Reelection Campaign
Today is the day President Joe Biden will look to propel himself front and center of the national consciousness as July 4 celebrations are marked across the country. A White House barbeque at 5:00PM marks the start of the day for the president. He and the first lady will host the event with active-duty military service members and their families on the South Lawn as he strives to look energetic and engaged with the late afternoon starting time.
Given the awkward days that have followed the octogenarian’s dismal showing in the first presidential debate he has little choice but to fight on or simply resign and walk away. Independence Day has therefore been chosen as a relaunch moment to quickly reassure the public he is still up to the job as support coalesces around the Vice President Kamala Harris to replace him in the November election.

Missouri Attorney General Sues New York For Trying To Throw Trump In Jail
Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey filed a lawsuit against the state of New York on Wednesday, claiming it violated the First Amendment right of Missouri’s citizens to hear from President Trump during the 2024 presidential election. Bailey posted a statement to X alongside his lawsuit to explain the reason for the new legal action filed to the Supreme Court.
“I have filed a suit against the State of New York for hijacking the presidential election by illegally scheming to jail their presidential opponents, President Trump,” he wrote. “New York is waging war on American Democracy—and Missouri will not let it stand,” the Republican attorney general added.
Bailey’s lengthy online thread provided numerous ways that New York’s prosecution of Trump has restricted the presumptive Republican presidential nominee’s 2024 campaign.
“New York’s illicit prosecution, gag order, and sentencing of President Trump has undermined his ability to campaign. This overt meddling in a presidential election sabotages Missourians’ ability to cast a well-informed vote mere months before the election,” he wrote. The actions call for the court to remove all gag orders and stop sentencing until after the presidential election. Bailey concluded, “I will not sit idly by while Soros-backed prosecutors in New York hold Missouri voters’ hostage in this presidential election.” The attorney general also called out the New York legal battle as “lawfare” against Trump designed to block his efforts at a comeback to the White House.
“This lawfare is poisonous to American democracy. The American people ought to be able to participate in a presidential election free from New York’s interference. Any gag order and sentence should be stayed until after the election,” Bailey wrote in the lawsuit.
The sentencing, originally scheduled for July 11, has already been delayed. Bailey’s effort hopes to push any sentencing until after the November election, while also removing the current gag order against Trump.

Poll: Donald Trump Leads Kamala Harris By More than He Leads Joe Biden
A post-debate poll, published Friday, shows former President Donald Trump leading Vice President Kamala Harris by more than he leads President Joe Biden as talk among Democrats has turned to replacing Biden with Harris at the top of the 2024 Democrat presidential ticket.
The poll shows Trump leading Harris by seven percentage points in a general election. The same poll shows that Trump leads Biden by four percentage points.

Biden: Six Days Wasn’t Enough Recovery Time Because I Was Sick, ‘Don’t Think’ I’ve Watched Debate Since
During a portion of an interview with ABC News aired on Friday’s edition of “World News Tonight,” President Joe Biden said that the six days he spent at Camp David before last week’s presidential debate wasn’t enough recovery time because he was sick and responded to a question on if he has watched the debate since by stating, “I don’t think I did, no.”
ABC host George Stephanopoulos asked, “You say, you were exhausted, and I know you’ve said that before as well. But you came — and you did have a tough month, but you came home from Europe about eleven or twelve days before the debate, spent six days in Camp David. Why wasn’t that enough rest time, enough recovery time?”
Biden answered, “Because I was sick, I was feeling terrible. Matter of fact, the docs with me, I asked if they did a COVID test, because they were trying to figure out what was wrong. They did a test to see whether or not I had some infection, a virus. I didn’t. He just said I had a really bad cold.”
Stephanopoulos then asked, “And did you ever watch the debate afterwards?” Biden responded, “I don’t think I did, no.”

Biden Claims to Have ‘Put NATO Together’ but Was Just 6 Years Old When It Was Founded
If there was one moment that crystallized just how non-reassuring the results of Friday evening should be for team Biden, perhaps they ought to look later in the debate, when ABC’s George Stephanopoulos asked Biden to look toward the future and make the case for him for being the candidate for another four more years, and he responded in part by saying he “put together NATO” — an institution founded in 1949.
“George, I’m the guy that put NATO together, the future,” Biden said. “No one thought I could expand it. I’m the guy that shut Putin down. No one thought could happen.”

Obama’s Former Top Aide Drops Truth Bomb on Biden Hail Mary Interview: ‘Sad,’ ‘Dangerously Out of Touch’
Joe Biden appeared on ABC News Friday evening in a highly hyped interview which Team Joe hoped would salvage his dismal reelection prospects following his dumpster fire of a debate performance against Donald Trump.
Early reviews for the president were not good, and the architect of both of Barack Obama’s successful presidential campaigns who also became his top political strategist—David Axelrod—was not buying what Biden was selling.
Shortly after the interview aired, Axelrod took to social media to tell us what we all already know; namely, that the president is woefully out of touch. In addition to his X post, Axelrod also appeared on CNN after the sit down and said the interview did nothing to change the momentum of the race, which is clearly in favor of GOP presumptive nominee Donald Trump. Axelrod thinks the First Lady and their tight circle of advisors are letting down the president and have been hiding the reality that he—and the country—are facing.

REPORT: Jill Biden Melting Down at People Who Want Joe to Step Aside
Instead of listening to anyone with sense telling him to step aside, President Biden appears to be relying on a “very tight inner circle” in the words of George Stephanopoulos. I wrote earlier about that “very tight circle” said to be three people who had thrown up a bubble around Biden, like “Weekend at Bernies” and including the man referred to as Jill’s “work husband,” Anthony Bernal.
According to Martha Raddatz, administration officials are telling her that that very tight inner circle is telling them that he can win, that he needs to keep going. “This includes his wife, Jill, who they said is lashing out at those who want him to get out of the race,” she said.

Multiple ranking Democrats on House committees want Biden to step aside
Democrats met behind closed doors Sunday as pressure mounted on President Biden to drop out of the race. House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries, D-N.Y., held a virtual meeting with ranking Democrats on House panels Sunday afternoon. Fox News learned that multiple Democrats on House committees expressed concerns about the viability of Biden continuing to run for re-election against former President Trump. Fox is told the consensus among most Democrats on the call who suggested Biden should abandon the race was that the party should focus on Vice President Kamala Harris as a potential successor. Reps. Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y.; Mark Takano, D-Calif.; Don Beyer, D-Va.; and Adam Smith, D-Wash., expressed privately that Biden should exit the presidential race as the Democratic nominee on Sunday. Most of them also reportedly said Harris should be the nominee, two people familiar with the meeting told The Associated Press.

‘They Want to Cheat’: Elon Musk Warns Democrats Are Planning to Steal More Elections With Non-Citizens’ Votes
ElonMusk has repeatedly raised concerns about electoral integrity with his nearly 190 million followers on the X platform.
Last month, he warned that electronic voting machines were at risk of being hacked and should therefore be eliminated from the electoral system. “We should eliminate electronic voting machines,” he wrote at the time. “The risk of being hacked by humans or AI, while small, is still too high.”
Back in May, Musk also reposted a video urging whistleblowers to come forward to report irregularities ahead of the 2024 presidential election, providing it with millions of views in the process.
In January, Musk also called for greater election security by calling for the mandatory use of photo identification. He described opposition to this proposal as “insane.”
