The Community Service Commitee of the Newcomers Club of Amelia Island organized one of the most successful food drives EVER for The Salvation Army Hope House. Member volunteers worked shifts at Publix on island and in Yulee handing out a list of needed items to shoppers, collecting bags of items as shoppers exited the store, packed their cars with goods and delivered this collection to Hope House! Our community is generous, and our Community Service volunteers endured the heat to deliver record results!!
