The Newcomers Club of Amelia Island’s Community Service Group has been hosting the Give-a-Heart luncheon and raffle since 2007 to benefit local charities.

This year’s charity was Micah’s Place which is dedicated to providing safety and support for individuals who have experienced domestic violence and to raise awareness regarding its cause, prevalence, and impact. They are committed to meeting survivors where they are and advocating for their right to self-determination. The February 2024 luncheon and raffle generated $14,076.00 for Micah’s Place.
