At a Special Meeting held on Monday, November 28th, two new Commissioners were sworn in to begin their first terms as County Commissioners. A.M. “Hupp” Huppmann was sworn in by friend and fellow Commissioner, John Martin, with his wife Lori by his side. After taking his oath of office he stated, “First, I’d like to thank God for all the blessings in my life. It’s been an incredible run. I have a lot of family here and friends from the community. I think that what makes this community great are the people. Thank you for your trust and confidence. I look forward to going to work for the people of Nassau County and to giving it my best every day”. Alyson McCullough was sworn in by her long-time friend, Missy, with her husband Josh by her side. Following her oath of office, Alyson stated, “I just want to thank everyone here and for those that put their trust in me. I just pray that during the next four years, you will hold me accountable to the campaign, all of the work we did, and I thank you all so much”. Both Commissioner’s terms will go through November 22, 2026. Their contact information can be found here on our website. |
