Nassau County, Florida, September 8, 2022 – We are excited to announce that Nassau County Fire Chief, Brady Rigdon, has been selected to serve as the Northeast Regional Director for the Florida Fire Chief’s Association.
The Florida Fire Chief’s Association (FFCA) is Florida’s leading management education organization for fire and emergency services professionals, specializing in promoting and supporting excellence in fire and emergency services management. As the Northeast Regional Director, Chief Rigdon will participate in FFCA’s board meetings and will carry out duties as directed by the FFCA President. These duties may include, but are not limited to, internal and external committee assignments; establishment of a communication plans and implementing long-range communications strategies for the Northeast Florida region; reviewing regional membership data; and serving as liaison between regional members and the Board of Directors.
FFCA President, Doug Riley, stated, “I am both honored and excited to appoint Fire Chief Brady Rigdon as the Northeast Regional Director for the Florida Fire Chief’s Association. He came highly recommended and I look forward to serving alongside him on the Board of Directors”.
The Board of County Commissioners commends Chief Rigdon on his willingness to further serve his community and his colleagues throughout the region. We have no doubt that he will be a great asset to the FFCA and that he will represent Nassau County well.
