Official Nassau County results

Official Florida results

So, the 2024 primary is done, vast majority of votes counted and here are the results so far- check later on for updates. Some of these races are quite close so far.

Numerous positions are uncontested- look at the list of all county candidates , list of all state candidates to see which offices, beyond the ones already mentioned here.=

U.S Senate:- Rick Scott far ahead of all other candidates, won Rep. primary. Dem Debbie Mucarsel-Powell won Dem. primary, but way behind Scott.

School Superintendent- Kathy Knight Burns (REP) won with 50.45%, 10,043; Curtis S. Gaus (REP) 49.55% 9,864

School Board District 2- Gail Cook prevailed over Roody Joinville; District 4- Kristi Simpkins won over Cindy Grooms

Circuit Judge 4th Judicial Circuit Group 34- Nancy Cleaveland slightly ahead of Ashley Cox in the county but lost to Cox in the full District, which touches 3 counties. Other local news publications got this wrong initially:

Nancy Cleaveland74,19846.65%
Ashley Wells Cox84,86353.35%

Clerk- Mich Keiter prevailed over Reynolds

Nassau Commission incumbents running all won: District 3- Gray, District 5- Farmer, (Martin had no opponent)

Election Supervisor: Adkins crushed Stan Bethea

No need to vote for our District 4 U.S. Rep. in Congress, because incumbent Aaron Bean has no opponent, as does the Dem. candidate, and therefore both win party primaries by default.

Our State Assembly Representative Dean Black also has no opponent and wins by default. Same with Dem candidate.

Ocean Highway and Port Authority Commissioner– District 1- Miriam Hill was slightly ahead of Danny Fullwood, District 2- Scott Moore won big over Jimmy Dubberly

City of Fernandina Beach Board of Commissioners

City elections aren’t until November, so we’ll come back at you closer to then.

The presidential primary was held months ago and Trump won hands-down. Democrats chose not to have a FL primary and picked Biden, who was replaced by Harris, when Biden dropped out.
