To We the People – Today I have several examples of how we might finally get to justice…just maybe…we’ll see:
- Great news on the Brunson Case at the US Supreme Court: Late yesterday the U.S. Solicitor General filed a waiver, waiving her right to oppose petition docket #22-1028 before it goes to conference. So, in the next few days or weeks the Supreme Court can set a date for conference. Because the Supreme Court adjourns for the summer at the end of June it’s possible, in order to give the justices plenty of time to review the petition the Court may set an October or November date for conference. Most recently (before yesterday), as of 5/19, Raland Brunson said his federal court judge had received 4,727 letters from people all over the country (including from ME) telling him to allow his lawsuit against, Sonia, Elena, and Ketanji to move forward. Where there’s a will, there’s a way!
- In case you missed it, on 5/19 KT McFarland, former deputy national security advisor, appeared on Mario Bartiromo’s Wall Street Week for 7-minutes to express her concerns about election interference, among a variety of other topics (such as the G7, China’s threat, etc.). “We now have black and white evidence that the FBI interfered in the 2016 election. And then, when they failed to get their candidate elected, Hillary Clinton, then they set out to destroy the Trump Administration. So then, go back, go up to 2020. It was the CIA this time that got involved in the 2020 election with those 51 former intel agents who talked about the HunterBidenlaptop as total Russian disinformation. So, they’ve gotten away with it for two elections. They’re for sure going to get away with it, try to get away with it in 24, right, because there’s no consequence. The difference is in 2024, the evidence is there. Wenow have the Durham investigation. We have all the Congressional investigations. There is now hard evidence that there was election interference by the US intelligence agencies and Department of Justice. They’ve got to be terrified. Those individuals have to be terrified that a Republican President comes in in the 2024 election with a Republican Attorney General, investigates them all with the crimes they’ve committed, charges them all with the crimes they’ve committed over the last 8 years.”
At least now it’s finally getting out there in the mainstream media that there is hard evidence of election interference in 2016 and 2020. Wonder if Maria will be the next one fired from Fox for letting this be said on her show?
- Although I just told you yesterday that there is only so much Congress can do, they’re conducting some great investigations. With regard to election interference evidence, on Tuesday, May 23, Senators Ron Johnson (Ranking Member of the Permanent Subcommittee on Investigation) and Charles Grassley (Ranking Member of the Committee on the Budget) sent a pointed letter to John Durham asking for specifics about why certain individuals were “allowed to avoid fully cooperating” with his investigation. Those named in the letter are James Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, Bill Priestap, Kevin Clinesmith and Glenn Simpson. The Senators specifically asked these questions and gave them 1 week to respond:
4. Other Congressional investigations now underway include this letter, written one week ago, May 18, 2023, by Rep. Barry Loudermilk, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Oversite, Committee on House Administration, (sent a letter on official Congressional letterhead) to The Honorable Robert Comtee III, Chief of Police of the DC Metropolitan Police Department asking for the following information regarding the J6 Fedsurrection:
Then, just yesterday, 5/24:
a. Jim Jordan (Chairman of the Committee on the Judiciary), Andy Biggs (Chairman of the Subcommittee on Crime and Federal Government Surveillance, Committee on the Judiciary) and Bill Posey (member of Congress) co-signed a letter to Christopher Wray, Director of the FBI, inquiring about the FBI’s slow-walk of providing any evidence about the J6 pipe bomb:
b. Also yesterday, on 5/24, James Comer (Chairman of the Committee on Oversight and Accountability) ALSO sent a letter to Christopher Ray, threatening to initiate contempt of Congress proceedings if FBI Director Christopher Wray continues to defy his subpoena (the FBI has failed to produce the unclassified record that alleges a criminal bribery scheme involving then-Vice President Joe Biden and a foreign national). This record is two weeks past due.
FBI staff indicated the search terms contained in the subpoena were broad because there were many responsive documents containing the term “Biden” in its confidential human source database for June 2020. So….Chairman Comer is now narrowing the breadth of the subpoena by providing two additional terms that may be referenced in the record: “June 30, 2020” and “five million.” If Director Wray fails to produce the record by May 30, 2023, the Oversight Committee will initiate contempt of Congress proceedings.
It’s been a busy week, and it ain’t over yet! Let’s see how this plays out. When all else fails, you know what might happen…..
