Facebook committed 822 election law violations- $24.7 million in fines. And that’s not all of it. These were deliberate, intentional violations which violated not only the law, but their own promises. Consider that this is only one case of one type of repeat violation in only one state (Washington).

“I have one word for Facebook’s conduct in this case — arrogance,” (Attorney-General) Ferguson said in a news release. “It intentionally disregarded Washington’s election transparency laws. But that wasn’t enough. Facebook argued in court that those laws should be declared unconstitutional. That’s breathtaking. Where’s the corporate responsibility?”
