Law Enforcement Responds After Another Assassination Attempt On Donald Trump
Former President Donald Trump is safe as law enforcement responds to West Palm Beach, Florida, after what the FBI now says was an apparent second assassination attempt against Trump this year. Trump, who survived a gunshot wound in Butler, Pennsylvania, at a rally in mid-July, was golfing on his course in West Palm Beach on Sunday. Law enforcement officials apparently encountered a man who had attempted to assassinate Trump there.
There are conflicting details and reports pouring out of official and unofficial sources, but Trump’s eldest son Donald Trump Jr. said on social media that an AK-47 was smuggled into the bushes on the golf course. There are other reports that the man had also smuggled a Go-Pro camera, presumably to film an effort to do so. Trump’s campaign had said in a statement that Trump is safe after gunshots were fired in his vicinity. It’s unclear who fired the shots, and it’s also unclear at this time what the situation with the alleged gunman is–whether he is alive or dead, in custody or not, and more.

When Asked About Voter Concerns About the Economy, Tim Walz Says He And Kamala Harris Are Middle Class
Walz was asked by a reporter what he would say to voters who wake up each morning with serious concerns about inflation and the economy. He responded with a non-answer by saying that he and Kamala Harris are middle class.
What does that have to do with the question? This is clearly just a talking point that the Harris campaign thinks is important but it’s not an answer. This middle class thing must have the Harris campaign worried because they keep repeating the talking point at every opportunity. Do you think they’re worried about losing middle class voters? It sure looks that way.

Ads In Four Swing States Criticize Kamala Harris For Supporting Teenage Gender Transitions
Attack ads airing in the swing states of Michigan, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin have been criticizing Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris for her past support of taxpayer-funded transition of teenagers. The 30-second ads from the conservative advocacy group CatholicVote say that 236 underage girls had their breasts removed with taxpayer funds. The ads reportedly used Medicaid data “listing the number of girls under 18 receiving mastectomies and hysterectomies in each state, as well as the number receiving hysterectomies,” per the Washington Times.
“Sound weird? Disgusting? It is. And you’re paying for it,” the narrator says in the ads. “Kamala Harris supports these taxpayer-funded sex-change operations. A vote for Harris: a vote for medical experiments on kids.”
CatholicVote President Brian Burch said that the ad calls attention to the “size, scope and money involved in the trans agenda being pushed on our kids.” According to the ads, 97 underage girls had their breasts removed in Pennsylvania, 86 in Wisconsin, 18 in Nevada, and 35 in Michigan. The ads also highlighted 14 hysterectomies in Pennsylvania, another 12 in Wisconsin, seven in Michigan, and three in Nevada.

The Kamala Harris campaign keeps pushing “joy” while offering few specific policy proposals, but we don’t actually have to look hard to find out how she’d be as president—just examine her record. And boy, oh boy, is it bad. She was the “the last one in the room” when Joe Biden made his final decision on the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal, she was “border czar” (despite her claims otherwise) even as millions and millions of illegal aliens flooded into the country, and she was the tie-breaking vote on the “Inflation Reduction Act,” which was really just a barely-disguised Green New Deal that sent inflation soaring.

Rep. Matt Gaetz Claims There Are 5 Known Assassination Teams in U.S.
Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) said during an appearance on Breitbart News Daily that there are currently five known assassination teams in the United States, three of which are foreign and out to kill former President Donald Trump. “Tragic. Avoidable,” Gaetz said when asked for his thoughts on the second assassination attempt against the former president.
“I am starting to get the impression that we do not have enough force protection of supporting President Trump that we ought to have, given the threat environment,” he said, noting that he recently met with a senior official in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) who said that there are at least five known assassination teams in the United States, “at least three of which are foreign that are out to kill Trump.”
“And, with that type of activity, I don’t think we should be allowing people to set up for an extended period of time and wait to take their shot outside of his golf properties or his other properties,” Gaetz said, expressing concern that the second suspect, Ryan Wesley Routh, was previously known to officials, encountered at the border upon his return to the country from Ukraine.

Secret Service, DHS Sued Over First Trump Assassination Attempt
A conservative legal watchdog group is heading to court to get the U.S. Secret Service and Department of Homeland Security (DHS) to explain how gunman Thomas Crooks had been able to “fire a relatively simple shot that came within an inch of killing President Trump and struck fellow Americans.”
In a lawsuit filed Thursday, America First Legal alleges that the Secret Service and DHS illegally concealed government records related to the attempted assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania, on July 13. The organization claims it submitted multiple public records requests about the incident but still has not received any documents.

Report: 95% Of Major Network Coverage Of Trump Was Negative After Second Assassination Attempt
Establishment media coverage of former President Donald Trump was found to be 95 percent negative following the second attempt on his life, according to a Media Research Center (MRC) analysis.
ABC, CBS, and NBC News all broadcasted overwhelmingly negative commentary on the Republican presidential candidate after Sunday’s thwarted shooting at the Trump International Golf Course in Florida, MRC found. “A look at the first 72 hours of coverage on the ABC, CBS and NBC evening newscasts — Sunday, Monday and Tuesday nights — finds that while the attempted assassination dominated campaign coverage, these networks’ anti-Trump spin was nearly as bad as it could be: 95 percent negative, vs. just five percent positive,” wrote MRC contributing editor Rich Noyes.
While the attempted assassination allegedly perpetrated by 58-year-old Ryan Wesley Routh made up 70 percent of campaign news airtime at all three networks, 20 out of the 21 evaluative comments reviewed by the center were negative towards Trump.

A former Border Patrol sector chief told lawmakers that he was blocked from informing the public about migrants who may be potential terror threats, as he says the Biden administration wanted to downplay the threat.
“In San Diego, we had an exponential increase in Significant Interest Aliens (SIAs). These are aliens with significant ties to terrorism,” former San Diego Sector Chief Patrol official Aaron Heitke told lawmakers on the House Homeland Security Committee. “Prior

Biden Makes Bizarre Comment About Fed Chair That Has Everyone Talking
Biden said something truly bizarre and concerning. He said that he “never once has spoken to the Chairman of the Fed” since he’s occupied the Oval Office. Biden clearly has spoken to Fed Chair Jerome Powell. He’s had multiple meetings with him. That clip of him with Powell is from 2022.
Biden is out of his mind and doesn’t even remember that he’s spoken to Powell. Right now, based on his words, that’s the most likely supposition. That’s extremely troubling and he’s the guy with the nuclear codes. Who is running the country with this guy in this condition? But Biden may also be trying to lie because he wants to put distance between him and Powell, to avoid the questions about whether there was any pressure on Powell to lower the interest rates prior to the election.

Conservative Group Expands Ads Highlighting Democrats’ Attacks On Catholic Americans
A conservative super PAC, Frontiers of Freedom Action, expanded its ad campaign highlighting Democrats’ record of attacking Catholics, running spots in Ohio and Pennsylvania against incumbent Sens. Sherrod Brown and Bob Casey. As Breitbart News reported earlier this month, Frontiers of Freedom Action first launched ads in the southwestern U.S., targeting Catholic and Hispanic voters in Arizona, Nevada, and New Mexico, both in English and in Spanish.
The ads highlight Democrats’ efforts to target the Little Sisters of the Poor over their opposition to the contraceptive mandate in Obamacare; Democrats’ history of questioning the faith of Catholic judicial nominees; the Democrats’ efforts to impose transgenderism in sports, even in Catholic schools; and the Biden administration’s history of targeting pro-life groups while neglecting crimes against pro-life pregnancy centers, among other examples of bias.

‘Damage That Will Take Decades to Remedy’: House Report Slams Biden-Harris Border Crisis
Throughout Joe Biden’s 2020 basement campaign, he pledged a 100-day moratorium on deportations of illegal aliens if he became president. “We could afford to take in a heartbeat another two million,” he said at one event in August 2019. Now, four years later, that two million has multiplied, multiple times. Arguably the worst part of all, the Biden-Harris border crisis was intentional. As a newly-released report from the House Homeland Security Committee aptly called it, a “crisis by design”— which is the title of the damning report.
The committee’s Chairman, Dr. Mark Green (R-TN), explained the gravity of the intentional crisis. Even if not one more inadmissible alien crossed our borders for the remainder of Biden and Harris’ term, the millions they have already allowed into our country have done damage that will take decades to remedy.
The report gets worse. Simultaneously, transnational criminal organizations like the Mexican criminal cartels and violent gangs have been enriched and empowered by record profits from drug trafficking and human smuggling. They funnel those blood-bought dollars into their ever-expanding operations in American cities and throughout the hemisphere. Ilegal aliens are committing crimes in American communities large and small, and their shocking acts of violence and recklessness have been documented in every state. Former Border Patrol Chief Rodney Scott said in testimony before the committee that “the [Biden-Harris] administration’s laser focus on expediting processing and increasing opportunities for migrants to enter the U.S. never wavered.”

Serial Rapist Paroled In California Thanks To Kamala Harris’s Proposition 57
Convicted serial rapist Andrew Luster, 60, is set to be released early from prison thanks to his crimes being classified as “non-violent” thanks to Proposition 57, crafted by then-California Attorney General Kamala Harris in 2016.
As the UK Daily Mail notes, Luster was “was convicted of 86 counts of drugging and raping unconscious women in 2003,” and “infamously fled to Mexico during his rape trial – only to be tracked down by Dog the Bounty Hunter. … Initially handed 124 years in prison, depraved Luster’s sentence was revised down to 50 years in 2013 on appeal.”
He was granted parole in August, roughly 20 years after his conviction and less than halfway through his sentence. The reason: a ballot initiative whose language was approved by Harris when she was California Attorney General.
Proposition 57 is less well-known than Proposition 47, which Harris backed in 2014. Proposition 47 reduced several felonies to misdemeanors and critics say it is directly responsible for the wave of retail theft across California. Proposition 36, which aims to amend Proposition 47, and which is opposed by Gov. Gavin Newsom, is extremely popular, with a recent poll showing 71% of voters in California plan to vote for the anti-crime ballot initiative. Proposition 57 sought to reduce overcrowding in prisons by offering early release to non-violent criminals. But it left out a definition of “non-violent” crime meaning that any crime not on the state’s list of major felonies would qualify.

Trump Assassination Attempt: Suspect Ryan Routh Played ‘Cat And Mouse’ With Police, Expert Says
A former FBI agent told Fox News Digital that there was “a clear mental illness component” that motivated would-be assassin Ryan Routh to take aim at former President Donald Trump on Sept. 15. Before he was charged with two gun-related crimes in a Florida court on Monday, Routh, 58, had more than a hundred interactions with police between the 1980s and 2010.
His prior charges range from writing bad checks to felony firearms possession, possession of a stolen vehicle and multiple counts of possession of a weapon of mass destruction in 2002—specifically, a “binary explosive with a 10-inch detonation cord and a blasting cap.”

Trump Scores Higher Favorability Than Taylor Swift in New York Times Poll
Former President Donald Trump has scored a higher favorability rating than Taylor Swift in a new poll from the New York Times, the Philadelphia Inquirer, and Siena College.
The poll results, which were released Thursday, showed 47 percent of respondents had a favorable opinion of Trump while 44 percent viewed Swift favorably. More than 2,400 likely voters were surveyed for the poll.
An ABC News/Ipsos poll released Sunday showed only 6 percent of respondents said the pop star’s endorsement of Kamala Harris makes them more likely to vote for her. Meanwhile, 13 percent said it makes them less likely to support her, with the vast majority of 81 percent saying it makes no difference.
A separate YouGov poll also found that Taylor Swift’s endorsement isn’t working the magic the left had anticipated. Just 8 percent of respondents said they would either be “somewhat” or “much more likely” to vote for Kamala Harris due to Swift’s endorsement. A full 20 percent said they are “somewhat” or “much more likely” to vote for former President Donald Trump.

Bill To Strengthen Secret Service Protection Guidelines Unanimously Passes House After Second Trump Assassination Attempt
A bipartisan bill to review and strengthen U.S. Secret Service standards has unanimously passed the House following two thwarted assassination attempts on former President Donald Trump.
Reps. Ritchie Torres (D-NY) and Mike Lawler (R-NY) introduced the legislation, called the Enhanced Presidential Security Act of 2024, on July 23 after the July 13 shooting at Trump’s Butler, Pennsylvania, campaign rally. The successful 405-0 vote comes after Ryan Wesley Routh’s apparent plan to kill Trump while he was at his Palm Beach, Florida, golf course was foiled by Secret Service agents on Sunday.
If it passes the Senate, the director of the Secret Service will be mandated to conduct “a comprehensive review of the provision of protection” for all former and current presidents and vice presidents as well as major presidential and vice-presidential candidates.
A report must then be submitted with the review’s findings and “recommendations for improving the provision of protection” to the House’s Committee on Homeland Security and the Senate’s Committee on Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs.
“Regardless of how every American feels, regardless of how every American intends to vote, it is the right of the American people to determine the outcome of this election,” said Lawler during a bill debate on Thursday, according to Fox News.
“The idea that our election could be decided by an assassin’s bullet should shake the conscience of our nation, and it requires swift action by the federal government,” he continued, adding that it is “shocking” that it took a second assassination attempt on Trump for him to “get the same level of protective detail from the Secret Service as the president of the United States.”

Citizens United Releasing Film On ‘Trump’s Rescue Mission,’ Exposing Kamala Harris’s ‘Radical’ Record
Citizens United Productions is releasing a film on Monday titled Trump’s Rescue Mission: Saving America, featuring exclusive interviews with former President Donald Trump, his running mate Sen. JD Vance (R-OH), and many more top conservatives, aimed at exposing Vice President Kamala Harris’s radical agenda.
Citizens United’s Dave Bossie provided Breitbart News with an exclusive first look at the film before it came out for this review, and in it Bossie and the all-star cast of major characters including Trump and Vance rip Harris to shreds. The film opens with Bossie describing how Harris “skyrocketed in politics from her start as a radical San Francisco liberal.”
After cutting to Harris admitting she is in fact a “radical,” Bossie explains how she launched from there to the U.S. Senate where she became the most liberal U.S. Senator per a 2019 analysis from the nonpartisan GovTrack. “She’s to the left of Bernie Sanders supporting policies described as Communism,” Bossie says.
The film features interviews with Trump, Vance, businessman Vivek Ramaswamy, Gov. Kristi Noem (R-SD), Reps. Jim Jordan (R-OH), Ronny Jackson (R-TX), Matt Gaetz (R-FL), Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL), Mike Waltz (R-FL), and Byron Donalds (R-FL), as well as Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and former Trump administration officials such as former Office of Management and Budget (OMB) director Russ Vought, former acting Attorney General Matt Whitaker, former intelligence official Kash Patel, former State Department spokeswoman Morgan Ortagus, former White House economic adviser Larry Kudlow, and former border official Tom Homan. Former Democrat Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii, who left the Democrat party, also appears in the film.
The storyline goes through the arc of the presidential race from earlier 2024 when outgoing President Joe Biden, the incumbent Democrat who was running for reelection until he collapsed in the debate, dropped out of the race and Democrats hastily replaced him with Harris despite the fact Harris got no votes.

Poll: Donald Trump Leads Kamala Harris Among Teamsters In All States
A poll shows former President Donald Trump leading Vice President Kamala Harris among Teamsters union members in all 50 states. Though the International Brotherhood of Teamsters has decided to issue no endorsement in the 2024 election, the latest polling shows its membership supporting the former president not only nationally but state-by-state.
Of all the states and districts polled, Harris only beat Trump among Teamsters in the District of Columbia — a near-complete 180 reversal of the support President Joe Biden received in 2020. In the swing states of Michigan, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, Georgia, and Arizona, Trump leads Harris by double digits:
Michigan — 61.7 percent to 32.5 percent / Wisconsin — 57 percent to 40.5 percent
Pennsylvania — 65.3 percent to 31.4 percent /Georgia — 56.3 percent to 40.7 percent
Arizona — 57.3 percent to 38.7 percent
Even in non-swing states, like heavily Democrat California, Trump leads Harris, albeit by narrower margins: 48.8 percent to 46.4 percent. It should be noted that the same polls showed Biden leading Trump by similar margins before he dropped out of the race.

‘She’ll Have No Electoral College Paths’: Mark Halperin Warns Harris’ Chances Of Victory Could Be In Jeopardy
Newsmax political analyst Mark Halperin warned Monday that Vice President Kamala Harris could face a scenario where she has no viable path to victory in the Electoral College. Former President Donald Trump is leading Harris in key sun belt states, including Arizona, Georgia and North Carolina, according to a Monday New York Times/Siena College Poll. Halperin, on “Wake Up America,” said if Harris loses these three sun belt states along with Nevada, she will have just one path to victory, and if Nebraska changes how it allocates its electoral votes, even that path could vanish.
CNN senior data reporter Harry Enten in May warned that Trump’s lead in the four key sun belt states was “an absolute disaster” for President Joe Biden’s reelection chances. Biden’s path to victory without those states likely would have depended on the rust belt swing-states of Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin,.

Ryan Routh Admits To ‘Assassination Attempt’ In Purported Letter Released By Department Of Justice
Fifty-eight-year-old Ryan Wesley Routh, the alleged would-be assassination in Palm Beach on September 14, 2024, allegedly left a note with a friend making clear his intent to kill former President Donald Trump. Forbes reported the handwritten missive is also allegedly an admission that his attempt to do so had failed.
The note said, “This was an assassination attempt on Donald Trump but I failed you…I tried my best and gave it all the gumption I could muster.” The note was allegedly contained in a box which Routh gave to an unidentified person and which was not opened until after Routh’s arrest following the alleged assassination attempt.
Since his arrest, the initial charges against Routh have been gun-based. Breitbart News reported that he is a felon barred from gun possession, yet he possessed a SKS rifle on the perimeter of Trump’s golf course. ABC 11 reported “prosecutors levied two charges against him: possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a firearm with an obliterated serial number.

Consumer Confidence Unexpectedly Plummets, Worst Decline In Three Years
Consumer confidence in September suffered the worst decline in more than three years, dragged down by a weaker labor market and rising pessimism about future business conditions and incomes.
The Conference Board on Tuesday said its index of U.S. consumer confidence fell to 98.7 in January from 105.6, near the lowest of the range for the index over the past two years. Economists had expected a slight decline to 103 from the preliminary estimate of 103.3 for August.
Increasingly pessimistic expectations for the economy’s performance in the months ahead and a weaker labor market drove September’s confidence decline.
The present situation index—which is based on consumer views of current business and labor market conditions—declined sharply, falling 10.3 points to 124.3. The expectations index—which gauge the short-term outlook for income, business, and labor market conditions—fell 4.6 points to 81.7, closing in on the 80 threshold that usually signals an approaching recession.
