Press Release
From County of Nassau
The Board of County Commissioners is working with the Florida Department of Economic Opportunity (DEO) to determine gaps in high-speed internet service to both unserved and underserved areas of Nassau County. This will assist the Board in their efforts to make high-speed internet/broadband services available to everyone in the County.
The DEO has created a Broadband Availability Map and speed test to identify broadband internet service throughout the State. Residents are urged to take this speed test to help further develop the Broadband Availability Map, which in turn will help Nassau County and the DEO identify gaps in high-speed internet service.
As part of DEO’s efforts to encourage public participation collaboration and ensure a high level of transparency, the Florida Broadband Availability Map will be continuously updated on the webpage. Please note that the map is not complete and will continue to be updated as more data is added and changes in broadband availability are identified.
