From FL 4th District Representative Aaron Bean’s Office, 1-26-25

On Inauguration Day, I had the esteemed honor to watch President Donald Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance take the oath of office.

After years of watching our economy plummet, our borders invaded, and our enemies empowered, it’s all coming to an end. Under President Trump’s leadership, we will return to a nation of strength, dignity, and prosperity. The new Republican majority will put our nation and the American people first.

His first 36 hours in office was nothing short of legendary. It included rescinding 78 Biden executive orders, actions, and memoranda, essentially wiping the slate clean of the last four years.ImageAdditionally, President Trump recognized there are only two genders and eliminated DEI initiatives. He removed the United States from the Paris Climate Accord and the World Health Organization. He initiated a review of our trade policies. And, he issued a series of executive orders focused on securing our borders, protecting American citizenship, and realigning immigration policies.
I look forward to working with President Trump and his administration to achieve the Great American Comeback! Our best days are ahead of us. Let’s go get’em! NEXT STOP: THE WHITE HOUSEImageHouse Republicans have kicked off this Congress with lightning speed, and I’m thrilled that we have a bill for President Trump to sign his first week in office.

On Wednesday, we passed an even stronger version of the Laken Riley Act that added the assault or death of a law enforcement officer to the list of deportable offenses.

The Laken Riley Act is just common sense. It should have passed with unanimous support. Sadly, 156 members still voted against it.

REINFORCING PRESIDENT TRUMP’S REJECTION OF BIDEN’S GLOBAL TAX SURRENDERIn the fight to restore our nation’s sovereignty and economic competitiveness, I  joined my fellow Ways and Means Committee members to introduce H.R. 591, the Defending American Jobs and Investment Act . This timely bill will reclaim America’s taxing authority and discourage foreign countries from imposing unfair taxes on American businesses and workers. Read more HERE PROTECTING THE MEANING AND VALUE OF AMERICAN CITIZENSHIP  Our open border has created many problems across the country, and a major driver of illegal immigration is birthright citizenship.

That’s why I cosponsored Representative Brian Babin’s End Birthright Citizenship for Illegal Aliens Act. This bill will codify President Trump’s Birthright Citizenship Executive Order into law and save this great nation from those who are taking advantage. On Thursday, I was proud to take a stand for life and help pass H.R. 21, the Born Alive Abortion Survivor Protection Act.

This bill protects infants who survive an attempted abortion to ensure they receive the same care as any other newborn. On Thursday, I joined Fox Business to discuss the latest on the four lawsuits that were filed against President Trump’s newly created Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) shortly after he was sworn-in to office.IT’S TIME TO UNMASK THE DEEP STATEImageCLICK HERE TO WATCHThis week, President Trump signed an executive order declassifying the government’s secret files on JFK, RFK, and MLK Jr. I joined the Matt Gaetz Show on OAN to discuss this and to call for President Trump’s FBI Director appointee, Kash Patel, to open new files on who paid for the Steele Dossier, filed unlawful FISA warrants and coordinated the Fani Willis prosecution. CASEWORK CORNER  We are not even to the end of January yet, but my team has been hard at work serving you.
