Press Release

Americans are tired of the federal government using their paychecks as an ATM. While protecting our interests abroad is necessary for national security, we must turn our attention to tackling one of the greatest threats to America: our staggering $34 trillion debt. That’s why this week, I introduced the Cutting Unobligated Tumultuous Spending Act (CUTS Act). This bill puts Americans first and changes the status quo by slashing wasteful Green New Deal initiatives and clawing back unspent Covid funds by $95 billion to offset the foreign aid package signed into law earlier this year. You sent me to Washington to champion fiscal responsibility—not advance Crazy Town’s reckless spending, and that’s exactly what I’m doing. Read about it exclusively in the Daily Caller HERE . SIGNED INTO LAW: BILL SUPPORTING MISSING AND EXPLOITED KIDS On Monday, my bill, the Missing Children’s Assistance Reauthorization Act of 2023 was signed into law. This bipartisan bill makes critical updates to help the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) better support youth who are missing, reduce child sexual exploitation, and prevent child victimizations. Bottom line: our children deserve to grow up in a safe environment, and NCMEC is an indispensable partner in achieving that goal. Learn more HERE . BEAN NAMED CHAMPION OF HEALTHCARE INNOVATION In recognition of my commitment to medical progress and finding solutions that positively improve the lives of patients and families, the Healthcare Leadership Council named me a “Champion of Healthcare Innovation.” Innovation is critical to building a competitive and strong healthcare system. In Congress, I have supported policies that promote medical advancement and technologies, so we can meet patients’ needs today, tomorrow, and beyond. PROTECTING VETERANS’ HOMEBUYING PURCHASING POWER The Veterans Home Loan Guarantee program was established more than 80 years ago to help our nation’s heroes obtain the American Dream—home ownership. However, in today’s challenging housing market, it’s on the VA to ensure our veterans buying power evolves with the market. That’s why, I joined Representative Tracey Mann in urging the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, to conduct critical review and revision of its current policies regarding VA home loans for veterans during the home-buying process. Learn more HERE . BEAN SLAMS BIDEN’S LAWLESS MASS AMNESTY POLICY The southern border is in full meltdown with more than 11 million illegal crossings since January 2021. On top of this travesty, President Biden is working to cement his border invasion with mass amnesty for half a million illegal immigrants. It’s never been more evident how out of touch this administration is with the American people. American citizens want mass deportations for the millions who have unlawfully entered our nation not amnesty. House Republicans know that border security is national security, and without this core principle there is no law, and there is no order. It’s why we passed the strongest border security legislation in our nation’s history—H.R. 2, the Secure the Border Act. YOU’RE INVITED: JOIN TUESDAY’S TOWN HALL YOU’RE INVITED: JOIN TUESDAY’S TOWN HALL I’ll be hosting a Telephone Town Hall on Tuesday, June 25th at 5:30pm EST. June has certainly been action-packed. From exposing how Biden’s border invasion is wreaking havoc on K-12 schools and holding AG Garland in contempt of Congress to ending wokeism in the military and modernizing our airport infrastructure, we’ve secured major victories for all Americans. Big changes are happening in our nation, and I want to hear from YOU. Be sure to mark your calendars, and if you haven’t done so, sign up to receive the call HERE .
