PROJECTS
Fernandina Harbor Marina dredging is 90% complete. Contractors & dredge
equipment will be moving out by the end of March. Radar mapping of the marina
harbor bottom ensures that the amount of material that was contracted to be
removed was performed.
Amelia Waterfront Park construction is underway. Construction fencing has been
installed. The installation of new utility systems will be the first element of the project.
Alachua Street opening construction continues. Stormwater systems have been
installed. The installation of curbing/sidewalks, street paving, and railroad signals will
soon follow.
The rehabilitation of Taxiway A at the Fernandina Beach Airport has been completed.
This $2.6 million project was funded through federal grant dollars.
