Over 2,000 years ago, God sent his son to Earth to redeem mankind from our sins. Romans 3:23 tells us that we have all sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God, and to have peace with God and be reconciled to Him, a sacrifice would be required. Jesus came as that perfect sacrifice, as our sacrificial lamb.
| This sacrifice is what the birth of Christ is all about. He came to Earth to teach mankind about God’s kingdom, and ultimately to become “the ransom for many.” Jesus’ short time on Earth had an impact that has affected the world for thousands of years: He liberates men and women who put their trust in Him. This year, as you enjoy Christmas morning with your family and loved ones, we pray that you’ll ponder the true meaning of this monumental day, that for all those who submit to Him, your life will be forever changed. God will give you purpose, He will give you peace, and He will give you a hope for the future.
