Should our public schools be converted into housing for illegal immigrants? Of course not. Yet it’s happening in cities across America. House Republicans are determined to protect students from Biden’s disastrous immigration policies. That’s why I supported H.R. 461, which condemns the use of elementary and secondary school facilities to provide housing for illegal immigrants who have not been legally admitted into the United States. BEAN DEMANDS ANSWERS FROM SECRETARY BLINKEN ON FAILURE TO RESOLVE PASSPORT DELAYS
I sent a letter to U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken urging the U.S. Department of State (DoS) to take immediate action to resolve the passport processing delays and clear the unprecedented backlog of passport requests. The ability of American citizens to obtain a passport in a timely manner should be a top priority of the DoS. Yet the application wait time currently exceeds upwards of 12-13 weeks with a backlog of more than 3 million applications. I’m getting to the bottom of it. Read more HERE.
RESOLUTION TO CENSURE SCHIFF PASSES
Remember when Rep. Adam Schiff (CA-30) as Chair of the House Intelligence Committee lied to the American people with his fake Russia collusion narrative? House Republicans are seeking accountability. On Thursday, I voted on a resolution to censure and condemn Rep. Schiff for his lies, misrepresentations, and abuse of sensitive information. Additionally, this resolution ensures a thorough and credible investigation will be conducted by the House Ethics Committee. Learn more HERE.
BEAN ON TBN: WASHINGTON SHOULD WORK FOR YOU!
On Wednesday, I joined Lyndsay Keith on Centerpoint to discuss the letter I sent to Secretary Blinken urging the Department of State to get back to work on behalf of the American people and take immediate action to resolve the unprecedented passport backlog.
Great to meet with these hardworking students from the free state of Florida as part of the Florida House’s Intern Seminar Series. It was an honor to share with them about my journey to Congress, and how I’m pushing back against the far-left’s radical agenda. I’m always proud to talk with our next generation of student leaders. Planning to visit Washington, D.C.? Fourth District residents can contact my office to request tours or to receive passes to some of the most popular attractions in our nation’s capital, including the White House and the U.S. Capitol. Contact my D.C. Office at 202-225-0123 if you have any questions.
TALKING WITH CONSTITUENTS
Wednesday night, I hosted a telephone town hall, and it was a tremendous success. I always value connecting with Northeast Floridians, who have entrusted me to be their voice in Congress. I used this telephone town hall as a chance to discuss some of the important issues in Florida’s Fourth District, listen to members of the community, and provide an update on my fight in Crazy Town.
