So like Hawaii, the weather is super unpredictable. However, it def rains more here than on the island. We’ve been watching the weather closely as we got closer to our date and it was looking risky for sure. This morning we all woke from our beds at 2am until about 6am with one of the CRAZIEST, loudest, longest and brightest thunder and lightning storm ever. I didn’t think it was ever going to stop and although I thoroughly enjoyed it in the middle of the night with four humans in my king size bed, I was nervous it was going to run right into our shoot.

Thankfully around 7am it stopped and the sun attempted to peek its way through for us for a short break. It was slightly overcast, a bit windy and with rain spouts galore coming towards us over the ocean but not for one second did it dim the beautiful and bright smiles of the Wharton Family this morning. I am so grateful for them for putting their faith and trust in me to make this session everything they wanted and more, no matter the circumstances.
