The biggest changes in federal government in living memory are now underway- a major inflection point in the trajectory of the United States. This is now possible due to our new activist President, a Congress and Supreme Court more sympathetic to his agenda, along with strong support from much of the electorate. Much of this is because of strong revulsion to existing policies causing a severe backlash.

Today, the inauguration of the 47th President of the United States was the formal beginning of a new era in American politics which will change the country and the world, likely for the better.

Stunning Victory. Implementation Activated Today

Donald Trump was sworn in around noon today, marking only the second time a President has succeeded in being elected to two non-contiguous terms, the last one being Grover Cleveland, about 120 years ago. But this time is inarguably the most amazing political comeback in U.S. history, due to the massive, unprecedented opposition, 2 impeachments, 4 sets of indictments, dirty tricks even multiple assassination attempts against him, which he improbably overcame anyway. Much of this came from our own government, particularly the Departments of Justice and Defense. To his supporters, Trump is the seemingly invulnerable populist hero who champions their causes in spite of his own major human biblical scale flaws. To the opposition, he is the movie monster that just won’t die. He said that God saved him from the Butler, PA assassination attempt.

The highly controversial 2020 election resulted in the installation of Joe Biden. It was one of the most contested. The Biden administration, with or without Biden, headed off into Constitutional, security, financial and social directions unacceptable to a majority of US voters. Add to that their erratic and incompetent performance. Then Trump won the 2024 election convincingly, the popular vote majority by millions, the electoral vote by an even healthier margin and all 7 swing states. That’s as near as anyone has come to a mandate since Bush II. He won this based on more good than bad first term performance and articulating future policies, while campaigning much better than his opposition, which didn’t even offer good candidates.

So, What is This “Inflection Point”?

Inflection point

In math, science and statistics, an inflection point is a reversing change in the slope of a curve. In this case, we’re talking about a national performance trend.

We’ve been hearing about much of the Trump agenda over the last few years via his high visibility rallies held around the country, attended by and watched by millions, along with strategic interviews and public statements. But it was all hypothetical until today. Trump’s first term merely helped slow down the negative trends in the USA, but did not sharply reverse overall performance, except in a few areas. The Biden administration “succeeded” in creating downward trends in many areas, mentioned in this article.

A large portion of the country’s citizens seem to think that the U.S. has been going downhill since its heyday, winning World War II and vaulting up to be the world’s economic and military power. But its momentum faded for various reasons. Military prowness declined in spite of spending more than the world’s leading military powers combined. Real wages hit a peak in 1974. Real inflation is probably 2000% since the early 1950’s. A 25 cent loaf of bread now costs $5. Minimum wage went from $1.25 to far higher in many states. National Debt is near 36 TRILLION dollars. Infrastructure is weakened. Society is divided more than ever, over haves vs have-nots, CRT, DEI, gender wars, “Climate Change” and more. Foreign policy/treaties seem to favor foreign nations and their causes over ours. Medical care has not kept pace with other leading nations, even though it is the world’s most costly. We have been invaded by around 20 million illegal aliens just in the last four years, many of them not at all beneficial to our nation. Foreign and domestic gangs roam and pillage at will in some jurisdictions. National focus has been diverted to Global Warming (excuse me: climate change”), crackpot equity and gender schemes and more.

Trump laid out most of these and more in his speech, in a staccato litany of attacks and promises to remedy them. There were so many that it sounded impossible to meet all those big promises- especially as some would cost a lot of money and some would require cooperation and approval of Congress, NGO’s, political parties and the People. Remember how the border wall was mostly stopped in his first term? But we would be good with even half of those getting done, I just wish I could pick which half.

Trump’s inauguration acceptance speech was one for the record books, too, challenging the status quo, subtly attacking past administrations, Congresses and industry oligarchs. Read his speech text here– definitely worth it, whether or not you’re a supporter, because this is what’s coming.

Some major policy reveals during Trump’s powerful acceptance speech:

  • “I will very simply put America first -our sovereignty will be reclaimed. Our safety will be restored. The scales of justice will be rebalanced.”
  • “The vicious, violent and unfair weaponization of the Justice Department and our government will end the and our top priority will be to create a nation that is proud prosperous and free.”
  • Reduce inflation.
  • End the “Green New Deal”. “Drill, baby, drill!” This will likely affect the climate “treaty.”
  • The southern border will be effectively sealed off from illegal entry as soon as possible. Criminal illegals will be removed and deported.
  • Official policy- just 2 genders.
  • Cartels/foreign gangs will be declared terrorists.
  • Reinstate COVID vaccine/policies objectors to military.
  • Stop subjecting military to radical political theories and social experiments.
  • Rebuild military to the strongest ever, to end and prevent wars.
  • “End the government policy of trying to socially engineer race and gender into every aspect of public and private lights. We will forge a society that is colorblind and merit-based.”
  • “External Revenue Service” will bring more tariff money instead of taxes, which will help domestic industry.
  • Restore fair access/control of Panama Canal- remove China from control. “We’re taking it back.”
  • DOGE: New Dept. Of Govt. Efficiency.
  • Stop all government censorship.
  • Help restore manufacturing.
  • Today, Trump signed an order to withdraw from the World Health Organization (WHO)
  • Stop wars and prevent more unnecessary ones from happening.
  • “The United States will once again consider itself a growing nation, one that increases our wealth, expands our territory, builds our cities, raises our expectations and carries our flag into new and beautiful horizons, and we will pursue our manifest destiny into the stars, launching American astronauts to plant the stars and stripes on the planet Mars.”
  • Although we didn’t hear him mention J6, he pardoned 1500+ protesters before the Village People had even removed their equipment from the stage.
President Trump signing executive orders

This speech far exceeded any of Obama’s words, described then as “soaring rhetoric” by the lapdog press. It was far more specific than even Reagan’s “shining city on a hill” speeches. Maybe it wasn’t quite as brilliant as Winston Churchill, but right for our times and place- inspirational, motivating, practical, specific enough. There will certainly be opponents of his agenda, so success will be dependent upon skill, adaptability, as well as support from branches and agencies of the US govt. and The People. Please read or watch the speech, if you haven’t already.
