There are so many stories making up the mosaic of national/international news that we can’t cover them all every week. The biggest stories now seem to be: the Trump election, immigration, wars, weaponization of government, our nation going bankrupt, massive inflation, phony climate change controversy and related expenses of government/industry attempting to address these issues, and the Chinese threat. So here are just a few:

Signs Of The Collapse Of Corporate Media Influence Are Everywhere
Within hours of the 2024 election being called for Donald Trump, I declared the end of the era of corporate media dominance. “The Road to the White House no longer goes through 60 Minutes, CNN, Fox News, Meet the Press, the New York Times editorial board, or the cover of Time Magazine,” I wrote. “That road now runs through the Joe Rogan Experience, Breitbart News, New Media, podcasts, talk radio, and social media.” However, I also wrote that we will never be rid of the corporate media. The propaganda value is worth too much for the massive multinational corporations and billionaires who own these outlets to ever give them up.
Nevertheless, once the affirmative action of carriage fees through pay TV comes to an end (where you are forced to subscribe to a cable/satellite package that includes channels you never watch and those channels still receive an unearned piece of your monthly payment) CNN and MSNBC will no longer be profitable.
Don’t misunderstand. Far-left outlets like CNN, MSNBC, the Washington Post, the Atlantic, the New York Times, etc., will always control the thinking of thin-skinned leftists intolerant of outside ideas who seek only comfort and affirmation.
The corporate media sprung four October Surprises on the public to win a close race for Kamala Harris, and none of them worked…
- Trump’s Madison Square Garden Nazi Rally
- The Puerto Rico Joke
- Trump Called for Liz Cheney’s Execution Hoax
- Iowa Poll Hoax
Then there were those who evaporated. Politico was a non-player. Time and Newsweek never hit anyone’s radar. The Atlantic disgraced itself with a hoax. ABC and CBS News shamelessly rigged their respective presidential and vice-presidential debates to no effect. The best news is that the corporate media will never reform, never change, and fade even more into the echo chamber of irrelevance at the hands of a few million hard-left subscribers who keep them alive.

White House Meeting Between Trump, Biden Ran Nearly 2 Hours
President-elect Donald Trump and President Joe Biden met for nearly two hours at the White House on Wednesday following Trump’s resounding victory last week. Trump and former President Barack Obama’s meeting in November 2016 lasted nearly an hour and a half. It is still unknown what Biden and Trump discussed in private, though they briefly met before members of the media in the Oval Office, in what will go down as a historic moment in American history.
“Well, Mr. President-Elect and Former President Donald, congratulations,” Biden said, shaking Trump’s hand. “Thank you,” Trump responded. Biden emphasized they are both committed to “a smooth transition” and his administration would “do everything we can to make sure you’re accommodated.”
The president-elect graciously thanked Biden. “Politics is tough, and it’s in many cases not a very nice world, but it is a nice world today, and I appreciate it very much,” Trump said. “A transition that’s so smooth it will be as smooth as it can get, and I very much appreciate that, Joe.”

Pentagon Generals Freak Out, Scramble To Hide Evidence Of DEI Advocacy
With each passing day, it seems more and more people in Washington are coming to realize that, in January, there will be a new sheriff in town, that he has a lot of deputies already getting badges, and that they intend to ride into town and start kicking down some doors.
Some of those doors are at the Pentagon, where soon-to-be Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth has determined that any Pentagon Rear-Echelon Military Folks (REMFs) who have been advocating for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) will be finding themselves out of a job.
Dare we hope that the Pentagon will once more focus on preparing and planning for war? Dare we hope that the military will return its focus on warfighting? Dare we hope that the military leadership will focus on training so that when once more young American men are sent into conflict, they will have the equipment, skills, and fitness to close with and destroy the enemy by fire, maneuver, and shock effect? Can we dare hope for a return to the military some of us remember from Desert Storm, when we went through a major mechanized army in 100 hours, like a dose of salts? When our Air Force, 24 hours into the air war, had Iraqi pilots looking at their airplanes and seeing coffins?
We have too many swivel-chair generals and not enough combat leaders. The POGUES (Personnel On Ground with Unused Equipment) who are championing stupid policies like DEI can go, and if they hesitate, a good swift kick in the fourth point of contact will speed them on their way. We need warfighters, not social engineers. Fortunately, we have warfighters; there are plenty of younger officers, O-4 to O-6, (Majors, Lieutenant Colonels, and Colonels) who have led men in battle in Iraq and Afghanistan.

How RFK Jr. Would Change McDonald’s — And Trump’s Diet
President-elect Donald Trump is not shy about his enjoyment of McDonald’s—and his choice to run America’s health apparatus is not shy about critiquing his future boss’ diet. “The stuff that he eats is really, like, bad,” Health and Human Services Secretary-designate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. told podcaster Joe Polish Monday.
RFK Jr. has insisted he has no desire to ban fast food, calling it “part of American culture in social media posts last month, but he has called for the elimination of some of the key ingredients that make McDonald’s, well, McDonald’s.
The 70-year-old, who possesses an incongruous-looking six-pack and is not shy about shirtless workouts, has said he is “against food that has seed oils.” Seed oils include canola, soybean, and hydrogenated soybean oil — a blend of which is what McDonald’s cooks its fries in.
After Trump made a viral stop at Mickey D’s last month, RFK Jr. stated that the fast-food titan should return to its initial practice of cooking the fries in beef fat tallow rather than seed oils. RFK Jr. has also spoken out against artificial dyes in “junk food” and tied them to lower life expectancy in the US compared to countries like Canada, Germany and Japan. “If you look at a pack of Fruit Loops in this country, it’s all chemical dyes,” Kennedy told podcast host Steve Gruber in September. “Yellow, blue, red dye, which are poison.”
Trump’s Diet Coke fixation is so pervasive that Kennedy told Polish Monday that UFC CEO Dana White told him he’s never seen the 45th president “drink a glass of water” in their 20-year relationship. The 78-year-old Trump is usually pictured sitting with a glass of his favorite carbonated beverage, even on his plane and during meetings with foreign counterparts.
The Trump White House will advise all U.S. water systems to remove fluoride from public water,” Kennedy wrote in an X post before the election, claiming that it is “associated” with harmful health effects. He also posted on X Oct. 25 that the FDA’s “war on public health” is going to end once Trump is back in office.
“This includes its aggressive suppression of psychedelics, peptides, stem cells, raw milk, hyperbaric therapies, chelating compounds, ivermectin, hydroxychloroquine, vitamins, clean foods, sunshine, exercise, nutraceuticals and anything else that advances human health and can’t be patented by Pharma.”

Democrats Already Drawing Up Plans ‘Refusing To Enforce Immigration Laws’ Under Trump
Democrats in deep blue states are already drawing up plans to thwart President-elect Donald Trump’s attempts to fix illegal immigration in America. The plan? Simply refusing to enforce the law, according to a New York Times report published on Saturday.
In these liberal enclaves – the last bastions of liberalism left behind in a red-wave election that wholly rejected their policies – prominent Democrat officials are planning to ignore various federal laws or codify new ones into their own state laws. Deep-blue states are already sanctuaries for illegal immigrants which, by definition means they are already ignoring immigration law to the detriment of their citizens.
But seeing the Times put it down in print is something of an admission that these Democrat cesspools champion lawlessness, writing opposing legislation to counter federal immigration law and defying the sovereignty of this great nation. This desire to break free from law-abiding states to establish independent laws and protect institutions of criminality hasn’t been seen since the Civil War.
The Times notes that these new resistance plans have been in the works since before the election, a contingency effort just in case Trump won. And in a direct rebuke to their causes, Trump won. Handily. That, and if the public anticipated Democrats were planning to ignore one of their top election concerns – rampant illegal immigration and the subsequent crime it brings to their streets – Kamala Harris no doubt would have secured even fewer votes.
If you plan to ignore it under Trump, it means you were ignoring it under Biden. Voters pick up on those subtleties. They didn’t want four more years of that. The Times report adds that Democrats in these blue states have already recruited “hundreds of lawyers” to “combat Trump administration policies on a range of Democratic priorities.”
And they’re already hunting down plaintiffs “to challenge expected regulations, laws and administrative actions starting on Day 1.” Why is it that when they refer to ‘their people’ they’re more often than not referring to illegals and criminals?
The NYT reveals sources indicating Democrats plan to ignore immigration law once Trump is in office. Several governors come forth to state that plan in black-and-white terms. The party of lawlessness is thus confirmed.
Still, the report points out that, “At the federal level, Democrats will have little ability to pass laws or stop Mr. Trump’s agenda.” Instead, they’ll just bury their own states even further, transforming them into crime-infested sewers. If they weren’t already.

Letting Their Freak Flags Fly: More And More Secret Trump Voters Revealing Themselves
If you don’t live in a deep blue area, you might not understand just how hostile most of the population in some of those places has been to Trump—even the idea of Trump—since the moment he walked down the golden escalator in 2015. Wear a MAGA hat in a place like Los Angeles, and you might lose friends, your family, your job, and you’d face constant confrontation. Put a Trump sticker on your car, and start saving up for all the repairs you’ll soon be facing because it will be vandalized as soon as you walk away.
But that could be changing since President-elect Donald Trump cruised to a landslide victory over far-left Vice President Kamala Harris. Even in blue states, the red wave materialized.
The times they are a-changin’: They’re donning MAGA hats in cafes, celebrating on social media and flying Trump flags: Supporters of President-elect Trump in deep blue cities and states are no longer keeping it to themselves.
Why it matters: Trump improved on his 2016 and 2020 margins in almost every state, including in most big, blue cities like New York, Los Angeles and Chicago.
- Many Trump voters in those cities saw his victory as validation, and are acting accordingly.
- Some residents of liberal enclaves tell Axios they’ve seen more Trump yard signs go up after the election than before it.
- And many supporters of Vice President Harris are grappling with the fact that their neighbors might not have voted the way they did.
“All of these undercover Trump people are out,” says Robert Cahaly, a pollster and strategist at the right-leaning Trafalgar Group. “People that would have hidden a week or so ago aren’t hiding anymore.”

The DOGE Cometh – Be Afraid Feds, Be Very Afraid
I don’t have much of an “I saw massive waste in business” perspective. The only businesses I was in were creative freelancing and as a practicing attorney. I’ve written about how law firms fleece business clients by overbilling clients. “Creative billing” was the norm, not the exception. That is one of the reasons I spent most of my career practicing on my own. That is a business expense the bigger companies simply accept. Waste in business doesn’t have to be a fact of doing business.
Cutting waste isn’t that hard. How does one cut costs in government? The biggest waste is human. Government is top-heavy and bottle-laden with people who are very good at doing little to nothing. One guy with 10 supervisors. Who among us hasn’t seen highway construction with one guy working with 10 guys doing nothing but talking about it?
It isn’t just federal employees who are unnecessary but rather government itself, in many instances, that is also unnecessary. Trump has vowed to eliminate the Department of Education. Good. Procurement programs for the Department of Defense are often wasteful.
Billions were wasted during and concerning the COVID panic. Billions down the drain or drained into bank accounts of foreign fraudsters or domestic fraudsters.
How many federal employees are really needed? Some estimates are as high as 85 percent being dead-weight. That’s a lot of waste. If Trump’s administration is allowed to eliminate entire departments and cut the federal workforce, dents will be noticed. Bureaucrats are noticing, and they are terrified.

Lame-duck Biden-Harris Admin Sanctions Israelis, Sends $230M To Palestinians
The lame-duck Biden-Harris administration is slapping new sanctions on Israelis, while sending nearly a quarter of a billion dollars in additional funding to the Palestinians, adding insult to injury in the closing weeks of its failed policy.
The Washington Free Beacon noted Monday: “The Biden-Harris administration on Monday unveiled sweeping new sanctions on Israeli Jews, just days after it awarded another $230 million in taxpayer funds to the Palestinians. The back-to-back announcements signal that diplomatic relations between Israel and the outgoing White House will continue to sour until President-elect Donald Trump retakes office next year.
The new sanctions are the broadest to date, imposing unprecedented punitive measures on three Israeli organizations the administration accuses of fomenting violence against Palestinians in the West Bank. They were leveled just days after a coalition of nearly 90 congressional Democrats petitioned the Biden administration to ramp up sanctions on Israel before leaving the White House.”
The sanctions were announced just three days after the Biden-Harris administration awarded another $230 million in funding for humanitarian projects in the West Bank and the Hamas-controlled Gaza Strip. The American government has now sent more than $2 billion in taxpayer funds to the Palestinians since Hamas’s Oct. 7 terror spree on Israel—even as critics warn this cash is keeping Hamas on life support.
Israeli legal scholar Eugene Kontorovich added in the New York Post: “Usually, sanctions target those responsible for severe wrongdoing, such as terrorist financing, nuclear proliferation and large-scale human rights abuses. The new sanctions break this mold by targeting Israeli Jews in the West Bank accused of property crimes and vandalism, or of simply associating with the wrong people. Despite an ongoing campaign of terror by Palestinians in the West Bank, Biden has used his order to target Jews almost exclusively.”
